They won't like that he's going to the Pats but in their system he wasn't worth more than the tender. The Bills seem to like his chances and wished him luck, except when they meet of course.
They're spending money(because they have a ton to spend) and they're not wasting it on players who won't make an impact on the team. I'm not a huge fan of the amount they gave Jackson, but he is legit and will help the growth of the front 7.
This is officially the last StlCrtn post I'm reading until you are free of that ridiculous avatar. *REF*
Captain Integrity strikes again, http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/03/12/report-martavis-bryant-facing-one-year-suspension/ Guy takes another dump on the CBA. Bypasses the ten game suspension that is supposed to come after four and goes straight to a year. He's a glutton for punishment isn't he? Looks like he's off to lose in court again....players would be foolish to accept another CBA with him commish.
The prevailing theory on that is that Bryant was facing the 10 game suspension when he was caught AGAIN, pushing it to the full 16 game ban. Since they don't announce the suspensions right away, it is certainly possible that a guy this stupid could be notified of a 10 game ban, smoke up again, get tested again, and be suspended for the season as a result. *WALL* *WALL* *WALL*
Apparently it's really not that hard to smoke weed and not get busted. I think it was Ricky Williams that said he was masking it for years until he stopped caring.
First off, I can't clearly see if it is an offensive coach or defensive coach. Second, I never said it was. Third, he didn't engage in any way with the opposing team.
Because the Steelers players didn't seek him out, shove him and then try and attack him. If you watch the replay of the Bengals game it is Burflict who clearly approaches Joey and then according to Burflict Joey complimented him. Then Gilberry (the village idiot no one talks about) pushed him from behind and then idiot boy tried to climb an officials back to get to him. Ever since this incident happened everyone was perfectly willing to accept the narrative that Joey went out there talking crap to Bengals players (even worse some say Tomlin sent him to talk crap) based on one guy who simultaneously said AB was faking. PacMan got exactly what he deserves and the Bengals bringing him back again are just asking for the same type of behavior.
p.s. And I'm glad he's back. Because it clearly fired the Steelers up and instead of talking they just went out and smacked the Bengals around. If the officials don't blow it it's 23-0 and the game was over.
Steelers WR Martavis Bryant facing year-long suspension PITTSBURGH (AP) ? Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant is facing a one-year suspension from the NFL for violating the league's substance abuse policy for the second time. Bryant's agent, Thomas Santanello, confirmed the potential discipline in email to The Associated Press on Saturday night and said Bryant has filed an appeal. The suspension was first reported by DKPittsburghsports.com. The 24-year-old Bryant was suspended for the first four games last season and spent a portion of that time in Houston with former NBA player and coach John Lucas, who operates a substance abuse facility. He came back saying he was humbled by the experience. Bryant caught 50 passes for 765 yards and six touchdowns, and had nine receptions for 154 yards in a playoff loss to Denver.
So far tonight... Chiefs sign cornerback Fleming, wide receiver Streater DeMarcus Ware redoes deal to stay in Denver Bears agree to 3-year deal with linebacker Jerrell Lions sign free agent S Rafael Bush
How the hell does Streater get $4 million plus? To me, most shocking thing this year has been the WR salaries for mid level receivers. Maybe a couple pass rushers as well
I remember hearing more than once last season that Streater is viewed as one of a very limited few potential breakout WRs in this FA class. He definitely looked the part of a third year breakout candidate after his first 2 seasons. Combine that with what some perceive as a weak WR class for this draft and the market for a player with potential rises sharply.
So then that goes for Marvin Jones, Sanu, and Travis Benjamin as well? I would argue of those four, the only one that makes sense is Jones. He's overpaid, but not brutally overpaid.
