If Lacy wants to hit the 100-yard mark again this season, it's not going to be easy, because as of right now, he's not the Packers' starting running back. That job belongs to Starks. On Friday, McCarthy described what Lacy needs to do to earn his spot back. "He needs to build off his preparation. He's put up some yards in the prior games, but he can be better. We need to be better as a team, frankly," McCarthy said. "I discussed this in our team meeting. There's a lot more to give. The fine details are not where we want them to be. There's a formula for us to get it there. That was made clear to our players and with the expectations and the commitment that we've made to each other, and we've got to do a better job." Lacy wasn't the only player who got in trouble for being out late in Detroit. Running back Alonzo Harris also apparently missed curfew; however, the Packers went a little harder on him. Harris was cut Thursday. (CBS)
Cut for missed curfew? I'm waiting for the Steelers to cut players for missed tackles (I'm looking at you, Burnt Toast).
In more news the rest of the NFC EAST continues to troll the Eagles with false hope in the division race. And lol Gould.
HISTORY! Saints block Panthers extra point & return it for 2 Pts for the 1st time in NFL history. Instead of a tie game, Saints lead by 3.
Cincinnati Bengals clinch AFC North with win or Steelers loss. UNLESS only beat 49ers & Pittsburgh win out. Then goes to Strength of Victory.
6-10 could realistically win the NFC East. For instance the Eagles could lose all their remaining games but vs Washington in Week 16 and still make the playoffs as long as the Redskins only win 1 more game and the Cowboys don't win 3 of their last 5. The stickler there is that Dallas would have at least 1 win vs Washington for that scenario to happen. Crazy! Amazing! Craptacular!
