i won't dispute that. Strongly possible. Then we'd never post anything here. Or we'd all be writing history books.
Fair enough. Maybe refrain from taking a side until you know all the facts? Or something. I'm gonna go get drunk now.
Oh. I see it. The running white guy thing... The obvious GENERAL answer is 'No". BUT I'd lay some seriously tall stacks of cash that Tom Brady would NOT have been handled in the same manner.
BREAKING! A federal judge has blocked Dallas Cowboys star Ezekiel Elliott's six-game suspension over a domestic violence case, setting the stage for a potentially lengthy legal fight with the NFL. ________ __________________ This is going to get real interesting...
He probably would if Goodell were the cop. Based on what I've seen and heard.....I think Bennett's actions plus his imposing size, not his skin color, had more to do with what happened. And I haven't yet seen anything that suggests the police acted improperly given the circumstances. That's all.
Based on the lack of credibility of the victim that has been publicly released, the NFL could've saved themselves a lot of headaches if they reduced the suspension to 2-4 games based on personal conduct policy and not as a domestic violence case. Unless they have some dramatic piece of evidence that has not been released, this is likely not going to be ruled in the NFL's favor.
I believe that is a Naser, right up the nose. Go eat dinner and have a couple afters. 1:30 is a little late for a pro athlete. Go to the Bunny Ranch or make a call.
Had an off game, happens to every team. They are far from done. His best target is out for the year, the guy that replaced him went out with a concussion, and his star TE dropped a TD in a key point in the game. I don't mean to make it sound as though Gonk dropped an easy pass, but that was a play that he makes 9/10 times. And the defense went from average to poor once Hightower went down. They will right the ship and still be a major force in the AFC
Kaep in the news again... Mike Glennon will make his debut as the Bears starting quarterback on Sunday at Soldier Field. Before the game, a protest will be held in support of an unemployed quarterback with far more significant career accomplishments. Dubbed the Standing 4 Kaepernick Protest — Chicago, a source with knowledge of the situation tells PFT roughly 200 to 500 protesters are expected to show up and support Colin Kaepernick. A permit has been secured, and police are aware of the event. Kaepernick has no involvement in the demonstration. He held a “Know Your Rights” camp in Chicago, and he donated money to a group there. Last month, a demonstration in support of Kaepernick was held outside the league office in New York. Kaepernick attracted widespread attention in 2016 when he stopped standing for the national anthem. He has made it clear through intermediaries that he will stand this year — if of course he ever ends up on an NFL roster. (PFT) ___________ ___________________ Hopefully it stays peaceful and their is no counter-protest.
For what its worth... The Giants are labeling Beckham as a game-time decision for Sunday's tilt with the Cowboys, but the team isn't counting on him being available for the contest, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
With New England losing their opener and Miami on bye, the Jets and/or Bills will lead the AFC East. Let that sink in.
Lol. I know it is very early but even thinking of how the Jets could be in 1st after games have played is just... wow.
