btw-now i know NE is favored this week, but i did call Pitt over KC last week. Never bet on Andy Reid gents. As an Eagles fan, I know that lesson already! haha.

 

So Dallas just got lucky with some missed calls, but Green Bay didn't with some questionable play-calling on Dallas' part?

Both teams had some questionable calls. Dallas improved in the 2nd half and Green Bay couldn't get going on offense plus the Burnett injury screwed their defense. The game was reffed pretty fair outside of the blatant holds by Claiborne on Cobb. I think one cost GB points.

 

There's no other way to say it...this guy really is one of the most loathsome cowardly scumbags on the planet...

that was the big one, but the other was a 3rd down i believe where Cook was held and the entire jersey was pulled. No call and they had to punt.

 

nothing to do with being an Eagles fan. small to think that. this is about Dallas here. stay on point.

the no call on Claiborne was a joke with Cobb's jersey being pulled off the shoulder pad! the one against Cook was almost as bad. No call.

point out some of these questionable play-calling plays that cost Dallas the game Axe?

Okay.

1) Could go either way on this, but that 15-yard unsportsman-like call on Brice Butler was at best ticky-tack. When have you ever seen that called before? That negated a 22-yard gain that put Dallas at the Green Bay 15. That EASILY could have led to a TD, and was a sure-fire FG.

2) First and 10 at the GB 15 with 1:19 left in the half, Dallas with a timeout in pocket. NOT ONE RUN PLAY CALLED even though Elliott was averaging nearly 5 yards a carry. 3 incompletes, and they have to settle for a field goal.

3) 3rd Quarter: Dallas 2-and-1 on the GB 19. On this drive Elliott has ripped off runs of 22, 4, 5, and 9 yards. So what does Dallas do? Bubble-screen that gets picked off. At least 3 points, easily could have been more.

 

NOTHING is easy. Fumble, stoppage, INT - no TD. Can't assume here.

Now this i will give you.

it was picked off. that's would of, should of, could of. He threw the ball and was intercepted. If he throws the same ball and goes for a TD, you say it was a perfect pass. Can't have it both ways. Sorry. That's not a TD to me.

 

If Dallas is at the 15, that's an automatic 3 points. Even if they lose 10 yards on a hold, Dan Bailey isn't missing from 42.

I was saying it NEVER should have been a pass in the first place. Elliott has runs of 22, 4, 5, and 9 yards, and it's 2nd-and-1. AT LEAST a FG there.

 

Kyle Shanahan expected to become 49ers' new head coach

The 49ers have offered Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan their vacant head coaching job, and Shanahan is almost certain to agree, according to sources familiar with both parties' intentions. Because of NFL rules, the two sides cannot formally agree to a deal until after the Falcons' season is over, but barring an unforeseen change of heart on either side, Shanahan will eventually be signed to a multi-year contract.

Shanahan, according to sources, will get to help pick the 49ers' next general manager, with Green Bay Packers director of player personnel Brian Gutekunst the leading candidate.
