how does that work for the other 30,000 season tix holders? no games this year or tix payments? ouch.

I wonder if LA can even support 2 teams. We might see some more moving in the not too distant future.
Maybe they can offer a buy one teams tickets and get the other one free. They just might have a chance to sell out both of them that way.
Someone, I don't know who, will argue the LA has 2 MLB teams, 2 NBA teams, and believe it or not, 2 hockey teams. So why not think that this will work. LA is a funny place. If you put a good team out there, we will show up. And we will even put up with an off year or two. But no more than that. We'll just find something else to do. I think that LA is willing to "wait and see" on the Rams. The Chargers ???? I don't think so. I think this is a HUGE mistake.
I feel sorry for the people in LA. With two bad teams they will never get to see good football on Sunday afternoon without the Sunday Ticket.
They have a lot of people who act like jock straps in LA, so they should be pretty good athletic supporters.
It wasn't until 1 year with the Rams that the NFL got 2nd thoughts about 2 teams in LA. But they already had a contract with the Chargers and couldn't rescind it after all the commitments the Chargers put into setting up the move. Noe the Chargers are moving and this is a huge gamble that may take a couple decades to pay off, or force them to relocate in 1.
Not true. The Rams demise was completely on ownership. They didn't want to pay any money to keep the good players/coaches that they had. The team was awful for years. No one showed up. That was their excuse to leave town. Al Davis and his Raiders showed up looking for a free stadium to play in. Couldn't find one, so he went home. Could LA support both the Rams and Raiders ?? I think we could. But "little" Davis let that one get away.
But relocate where ??? Really only two choices. Go back to San Diego. Or go to San Antonio. But I think that Jerry Jones might have something to say about that.
Former Washington OC Sean McVay is the new Rams head coach. He will turn 31 on January 24th, making him the youngest HC in NFL history.
Pretty sure the Raiders had trouble selling out and had many games blacked out while they were in LA. They had Tim Brown on the radio after the Chargers news leaked and he talked about it being crazy for 2 teams to be there and how empty the Stadium was when the Raiders were there.
