I don't think Kelly plays well with others. To me, his ONLY recourse is to return to college where he can run the show his way.
kelly is the best according to him. pacman is the best according to him, his crew and new friends. watkins is the best according to his podiatrist (bills fan). great news on david Johnson.
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/t...ne-15-finalists-for-hall-of-fames-2017-class/ NFL HOF FINALIST ! Will TO make the Hall this year? If Dawnkins makes it, expect a lot of tears. He's a crier. haha. Some great names on the list.
A lot of linemen this year. Boselli, Faneca, Jacoby and Mawae. Don't think I have ever seen that before. It's about time!
Jim Caldwell to return as Lions coach in 2017 Jim Caldwell will coach the Lions next season. The team confirmed the news on Twitter, ending what little speculation there might have been about Caldwell's future in Detroit. The 61-year-old is now 27-21 over three seasons with the Lions, including a pair of playoff appearances. Detroit will take on the Seattle Seahawks in their Wild Card Weekend game this Saturday. While it might make sense for someone to assume that new Lions general manager Bob Quinn wouldn't appreciate the Lions falling out of the division lead and potentially losing the opening round of the playoffs (had the Redskins defeated the Giants on Sunday, the Lions would not be in at all), Caldwell is a better option for Detroit than what is available right now. His staff, which falls under his umbrella, is highly regarded. His team weathered a series of incredibly difficult games. His quarterback should have earned an MVP nod just for his performances in the fourth quarter alone. Caldwell rarely gets credit for it, but he should. (NFL.com)
That's true, but Joe Thomas may be a Hall of Famer before anyone on that list is, especially Faneca...and Thomas has another 4-5 years of playing to do before he starts his 5 year countdown to enshrinement.
amazing how easy to pick Thomas was and how predictable his results are. He was a stud in college and now a perennial stud pro and all-star. I wish all draft picks were that easy. Hell, I bet Cleveland wishes all draft picks were that easy and no - brainers.
Tyreek Hill?s 95-yard touchdown cost Marcus Sherels?$100,000 Vikings cornerback Marcus Sherels had a clause in his contract that paid him a $100,000 bonus if he led the league in punt return average. As of the end of the Vikings? season on Sunday, Sherels was leading the league and was set to earn that money. Then Tyreek Hill happened. Hill returned a punt 95 yards for a touchdown on Sunday afternoon, after the Vikings? game was over. Via Field Yates of ESPN, that return was the difference between Sherels earning that $100,000 bonus and not receiving it. In the end, Sherels finished the season with 292 yards on 21 punt returns, an average of 13.9 yards per return. Hill finished with 592 yards on 39 punt returns, an average of 15.2 yards per return. But if not for that 95-yard return in Week 17, Hill would have averaged 13.1 yards and finished behind Sherels. Every year there are NFL players who just miss out on performance incentives. But few miss out in as painful a fashion as Sherels, watching helplessly as another player?s highlight play costs him big money. (PFT)

Matt Moore expected to start for Dolphins Ryan Tannehill has a chance to play on his injured knee, but he has to practice first. That's been coach Adam Gase's stance on the matter. On Wednesday, though, Tannehill did not practice. Hours later, Gase told reporters that "unless something changes drastically," veteran backup Matt Moore will start in the Dolphins' Wild Card game against the Steelers on Sunday.
Seahawks also added another potential return man a few weeks ago - an undrafted WR prospect named J.D. McKissic who did a lot of PR/KR in training camp and had a kickoff return TD in preseason.
Cowboys agree to terms with Jonathan Cooper http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/01/04/cowboys-agree-to-terms-with-jonathan-cooper/ Can't believe what a stiff this guy has been. That said, this is your classic "low risk, high reward" signing. Costs next to nothing to kick the tires on a guy who was seen not long ago as virtually a can't-miss prospect.
Doesn't sound good on the resume to be cut by the Browns and the Patriots, but now he's a Cowboy... someone must see some good in him. Depth for any more or possible injuries is a must now too.
Cowboys' Randy Gregory suspended at least one year The Dallas Cowboys will be without Randy Gregory for quite some time. The league announced Thursday the Cowboys defensive end is suspended for at least one year for violating the NFL's Policy for Substances of Abuse. Gregory is effectively banned from the league until he is reinstated by the NFL. The earliest he can apply for reinstatement is November 6, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on NFL Network's?Up to the Minute Live. This marks Gregory's third suspension in the last year. He previously served a four-game suspension to start the 2016 season for his first substance abuse violation and served an additional 10-game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy for a second time. He also failed the drug test at the NFL Scouting Combine. Gregory did appear in the Cowboys' Week 16 and 17 tilts this season, totaling eight tackles and recorded his first career sack.
Gregory career is through before it got started. He has serious issues that he has no idea how to stop.
