Odd, I just received a report from Bleacher Report that said Tony Romo will play some in this game also....seems the Cowboys, like the Steelers, are content with how they will finish the season and care more about keeping their players fresh than winning the final game. That's is really more understandable for the Steelers, since they will be playing the following week. Personally, I would fear a little staleness in having my prominent players being off for 2 weeks before playoffs begin. Hope it doesn't come back to bite them on the ass. (edit After a closer look, the Cowboys starters will still start, but only play what seems to be a couple of series before giving way to backups...Seems a little better than not playing at all.
I'd be shocked (shocked, I say!) if Romo played even one snap. Guessing the starters play a quarter, maybe a quarter+, then it'll be Sanchez & McFadden time.
Darren Sproles says he is likely going to retire after next season. The Eagles have him on the books at $4M for one more year but he has no dead cap hit so he could be cut this offseason but at $4M it is likely too good a deal to cut ties, especially with the uncertainty at the position.

Yep, saw that after my initial post. Risky bidness - he gets hurt, they'd have to roll with Sanchez as their playoff backup. Plus, Romo'd have ZERO trade value at that point.
