Taylor Lewan made contact with an official during Sunday's win, and it cost him big time.

The Titans left tackle was fined $30,387 for unsportsmanlike conduct, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a league spokesman. A fine was expected after Lewan was ejected during the first quarter.

For what it's worth, Lewan's coach, Mike Mularkey, agreed with the initial ejection.
"It was the right call," Mularkey said. "Taylor should not have been where he was. He should have been back in the huddle -- no excuses. He shouldn't have been there."

Lewan wasn't the only player fined by the league on Friday.

Rapoport adds that Falcons safety Keanu Neal was fined $24,309 for a hit on Eagles receiver Jordan Matthews. While there was no flag thrown on the play, the fine suggests that the hit deserved one. (NFL.com)

With his recent injury woes, it may not be up to him as a 36 year old with a HUGE contract to contend with....He could always retire

A lot could change between now and then but I think if he went to Jerry and asked for his release Jerry would do it. It's a win-win for both sides. Tony gets to hit free agency and choose his own destination and the Cowboys get to designate him a June 1 cut and split his dead money over '17 and '18.

Romo seems to control his own destiny. Jerry Jones will do whats best for the Cowboys and Romo. I still think Romo has plenty of gas left in the tank and could really benefit another team, but in todays game with all the QB injury's it sure is nice to have him ready and waiting if Dak unfortunately would go down.

Romo right now is a great insurance policy for the Cowboys.

But that's a big salary to have on your team when the guy isn't a starting QB. Most players want to play, not be an insurance policy on the sidelines. I doubt any team will pick up his salary as is. I could see him leaving Dallas eventually to start for another team, but he won't be getting as much $$$$ as Jones is paying him.......

Vikings have a 100 yard pick 6 and 104 yard Kick-off return. I don't think ive seen anything like that in one game before.

A.J. Green suffers tear in hamstring in Bengals' loss

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green exited Sunday's 16-12 loss?to the Buffalo Bills early in the first quarter after suffering a hamstring injury. He did not return to the game.

Bengals coach Marvin Lewis didn't provide any details about Green's injury after the game.
"I don't know when he can come back, but he has a hamstring injury," Lewis said.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Green tore his hamstring and will undergo a MRI. Rapoport added the tear is believed to be significant.

Green sustained the injury during an incomplete pass from Andy Dalton on second-and-15. After colliding with Bills cornerback Stephon Gilmore, Green went down clutching his right hamstring. He was carted off the field.

Losing Green, who ranks second in the league in receiving yards (964), could be a huge blow going forward for the Bengals. When Green has 100 or more yards in a single game, the Bengals are 3-0-1. Since 2011, the Bengals are 1-2-1 in games sans Green (not including today's game).

LANDOVER, Md. (AP) ? Kirk Cousins wondered early in the Washington Redskins' game against the Green Bay Packers if the wind would make it difficult.

Instead, Cousins gripped the ball tighter, ripped it into the air and threw for 375 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Redskins to a 42-24 victory Sunday night, Washington's sixth victory in eight games.

Handing the Packers (4-6) a potentially season-crushing fourth consecutive loss, Cousins outdueled two-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers and got the Redskins (6-3-1) rolling into a Thanksgiving showdown against the NFC East-leading Dallas Cowboys.

"Lights out," said DeSean Jackson, who had a 17-yard touchdown catch . "QB rating 145? So we need him to play like that a lot more. I think if we can get our guy back there playing like that, pretty much unstoppable."

With Cousins carving up Green Bay's porous pass defense and Robert Kelley running for 137 yards and three touchdowns, Washington put up 517 yards didn't wilt like it did in a playoff loss to the Packers. "We Want Dallas" chants filled FedEx Field in the final minutes of the game that only became a blowout late, but this was a well-rounded performance that the Redskins wish they could've put together in January.
"We certainly had a sour taste in our mouths walking away from the game last season," said Cousins, who was 21 of 30 and also had TD passes to Jamison Crowder and Pierre Garcon . "When you watch the film, we felt like there were plays there to be made that didn't get made. I think tonight you saw what we felt we were capable of doing last January and just didn't get it done."

While the Packers allowed 30 or more points for the fifth time in six games ? all losses ? Rodgers and the offense couldn't keep up. He was 26 of 41 for 351 yards and three touchdowns, but the result was the same.

The Cincinnati Bengals' offense is in dire straits after Sunday's 16-12 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

As if All Pro wide receiver A.J. Green's torn hamstring wasn't devastating enough, tailback Giovani Bernard suffered an ACL tear, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, via a source informed of the player's situation.

Bernard will undergo surgery and miss the remainder of the 2016 season.

  16. Per Adam Schefter: Jay Cutler suffered a shoulder injury. The Bears are looking into whether it's season ending. If so, this is likely the last game Jake plays in a Bears uniform - maybe even call it a career.

A.J. Green strains hamstring, won't need surgery

The Cincinnati Bengals received a modicum of positive news on Monday.

A.J. Green suffered a hamstring strain Sunday, but will not require surgery. He will probably be out a few weeks, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source.

Green was carted off early in Sunday's 16-12 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Coach Marvin Lewis said Monday that Green is moving better than expected after the injury and hopes to have his star receiver back by the end of the year.

Will the Bengals be playing for anything by the time Green is ready to play?

At 3-6-1, Cincinnati sits 13th in the AFC but just 1.5 games behind the Ravens and Steelers in the division. The Bengals head to Baltimore in Week 12 followed by tilts versus Philadelphia, Cleveland and Pittsburgh.
Counting Sunday's loss in which Green left on the second play of the game, Cincinnati is 1-3-1 without the superstar receiver since he entered the NFL in 2011.

With Giovani Bernard (ACL, out for season) and Green out, an already subdued Bengals offense will have to manufacture points behind Andy Dalton, Jeremy Hill and rookie receiver Tyler Boyd while grasping at dwindling playoff hopes. (NFL.com)

Brock Osweiler distracted by fans shining laser beam on?him

Brock Osweiler found himself in an Austin Powers situation in last night?s loss to the Raiders in Mexico City. It wasn?t the ill-tempered sea bass that got him (the Raiders won by a touchdown, not a field goal), but the fricking laser beams.
According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, Osweiler said it was ?very distracting? that he had a green laser pointer shined on him throughout last night?s game.

?I?m still gathering information on what exactly took place, but all I know at this point is when we were out there on the field on offense, there were multiple times I saw a green laser coming from the stands,? Osweiler said. ?There was a couple of times it definitely hit me in the eye. And it was very noticeable.

?I never want to say one thing is a difference-maker, but certainly, having a laser zoomed in on your eyeball definitely affects how you play a game.?

Texans coach Bill O?Brien didn?t comment on the laser, referring the question to security. But it was clearly in Osweiler?s eyes, and his head.
?I?ve never experienced a laser being shined in my eyeball during a football game, let alone a professional football game in the National Football League,? Osweiler said. ?So, I think that was certainly disappointing. At the end of the day, that?s not why we lost the game. That was just one small factor, but it certainly affected how I was playing.?
