I think signing Kyle Trask, Mason Rudolph or Marcus Mariota to be the bridge starter while you work through getting JJ up to speed in year 2 makes more sense than taking a swing at Rodgers or Wilson.
The Atlanta Falcons have signed defensive end Leonard Floyd, who was released by the San Francisco 49ers on Tuesday, to a one-year, $10 million contract. Agent Todd France announced the news on Instagram. Floyd had 8.5 sacks last season, his first with the 49ers after signing a two-year, $20 million contract with San Francisco last offseason. DeAndre Hopkins is headed to another AFC contender. According to multiple reports, Hopkins has agreed to a one-year deal with the Ravens. The initial numbers indicate Hopkins’ contract is worth $5 million with a maximum value of $6 million.
