SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- The Los Angeles Rams' 12-6 victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night propelled them closer to the top of the NFC West and a playoff spot. The Rams entered the game with a 35% chance to make the playoffs and a 32% chance to win the division, according to ESPN Analytics. Those figures went up significantly after the victory: The Rams' playoff chances now sit at 52% and winning the division at 49% entering the weekend. And perhaps most importantly, the Rams continue to control their destiny with three games left. The Rams end their season at the New York Jets and home to the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals. The Rams have made the playoffs in five of the previous seven seasons under head coach Sean McVay, including a trip to Super Bowl LIII and a victory in Super Bowl LVI. At 8-6, the Rams now sit half a game back of the NFC West-leading Seattle Seahawks. ESPN
I am so happy to report some good news about one of my favorite all-time football players... Hall of Fame receiver Randy Moss has announced that he is a “cancer survivor.” In a Friday afternoon Instagram Live session, Moss disclosed that he had a six-hour surgery six days ago for bile duct cancer. He said he had a Whipple procedure, and that the cancer was just outside the bile duct, between the pancreas and the liver. Moss, who moved slowly but was in very good spirits, said he’ll now have chemotherapy and radiation. The recent surgery followed a 2.5-hour procedure on Thanksgiving to put a stent in his liver. Moss urged everyone to undergo regular screening. “By the grace of God, my liver started acting up,” Moss said. He had discolored urine, and the diagnostic procedures eventually disclosed the cancer. “My goal is to get back on that television with my team,” Moss said.
Steelers WR, Pickens is OUT Sunday vs the Eagles. Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker remained out of practice Friday, earning a doubtful designation for Sunday’s game against the Packers. Joe Burrow is good for the Bengals.
I got a friend that had gotten breast cancer with chemotherapy radiation now she's cancer free it's a long road wish him well nothing but GOOD HEALTH
I've been watching videos of the Falcons on YouTube I just love the comments on Capt Kirk by the fan base, the frustration the Vikings fan base felt for years no SB's not a one it's kinda funny
Lions defensive end Za’Darius Smith got away with an illegal hit on Packers quarterback Jordan Love last Thursday because the officials missed it. But the NFL’s disciplinary office saw it. The league has fined Smith $6,722 for a blow to the head/neck area on Love. Smith should have been flagged for roughing the passer on the third-down incompletion. If he had been, the Packers would have had first-and-10 at the Lions’ 32-yard line, where it’s likely they would have scored at least a field goal, possibly a touchdown. Instead, the Packers punted after the third-down incompletion. The Packers missed out on probably three and possibly seven points in a game they ended up losing 34-31. The league’s disciplinary process often highlights missed calls, because the league office sees many illegal hits that the officials on the field missed. This one was a big miss. PFT _________ __________________ Funny how they pick and choose which play to penalize when clearly others have gotten no attention after the fact.
Never gave that game much thought. I think all eyes are on the Bills/Lions game. Nothing else really matters. Maybe the Steelers game.
Its in Cleveland, they are loose, nothing to play for but pride. Chiefs are like the Vikings have been for 2 and a half years... way too many 1 score wins. I agree with your 'hinted' assessment... Browns just might win this thing. Of the 1 PM ET games, the Browns are on my new 43" tv, RedZone on PC, because I think this Cleveland game is the most 'intriguing' of the early games. My pick is Cleveland.
Winston is a TO machine, no doubt about it. It is still a one score game and we will see what happens.
