so i guess i didn't watch the game?

he didn't throw a TD and went 11/22 for 179. i don't know if that's impressive Joe. If the ST and Def don't score 14 pts, this game is a blowout.

they were 3-0, now 3-2, the Eagles team - Wentz wagon and all is a little wobbly. the schedule gets even harder with Minn and Dallas back to back next.

Let's see, his yardage and completions were low because.
    1) It seemed every other time he got a completion someone on the line got some kind of penalty, negating it. Yes some helped him have a bit more time but the line was pretty bad without Lane in.
    2) As you said the ST/DEF got 14 points, hence he really didn't even see the field for a whole quarter because the defense kept staying on the field due to those scores.

Also the Wentz wagon doesn't have to be synonymous with Eagles wagon.

that line is going to be a battle each week. 5 sacks is not good. they need to beef it up somehow or wentz will be sacked a lot or running for his life.

We'll likely see Vaitai go back to the bench unless he gets some quick coaching up.

My bad, I think I saw it as Dallas' next game without regard to the date.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for Week 7 versus the New England Patriots.

Roethlisberger underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee, coach Mike Tomlin announced Monday via a team statement. Tomlin added no timetable has been set for the veteran quarterback's return, but the Steelers are confident the injury is not long-term.

The 34-year-old signal-caller played through pain in the second half of Sunday's loss to the Miami Dolphins after missing part of the second quarter with the injury. Roethlisberger said he "felt something funny" in his knee after the game, per NFL Media's Aditi Kinkhabwala.

After hosting the Pats in Week 7, the Steelers go on bye in Week 8 and travel to Baltimore for a divisional showdown with the Ravens in Week 9. (NFL.com)

Reminds me of the 2010 CBSSports boards. When it was mentioned the Vikings faced the Saints twice in a row but the Saints didn't face the Vikings twice in a row, some needed help in understanding it.

Man you gotta be the biggest putz in this place. Tomlin bitches and moans? You either 1) Never listen to him 2) Make shit up

Tomlin describes it happens and says it happens anytime they play here.
Belichick describes what happens and says they deal with it weekly.

I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure more than just Tomlin has complained about the mysterious radio issues when you visit the patriots.

The Chiefs trade RB Knile Davis to the Packers for a conditional late-round pick.

So are Eddie Lacy's days numbered ? Or is this to help with Starks' injury?

I read the article - it's not even a rumor. A writer for NJ.com thinks the Eagles should call Cleveland and inquire into Thomas' availability.

oh damn axe. i found another article about it, who then quotes that NJ writer about a trade. my bad. carry on...

Cobb was set to be the backup running back so they needed somebody. Remember when the Packers were turning out RBs out of their practice squad after injury after injury. Guys like Samkon Gado.

OUCH. as a fantasy owner of Lacy, he hasn't done that well and considering GB's track record of swapping RBs in and out, i wouldn't put it past them.

Glad I didn't invest in Lacy - I thought he was going to have a real good bounce-back year.

I'm not one to gripe about the refs. But how did they miss that PI call at the end of the Falcons' game? That was pitiful.

It's the way it is now. Whoever has the refs that week has a big advantage.
