I blame both of them. They are both to blame. He didn't want to acknowledge he was lost or whatever. He could have simply said he took too long to make sure everyone was set or something but he went about it a weird way.
I also may have misunderstood your post. I still believe Williams did what he did by dealing with the cards he was dealt by Eberflus, who should take 100% of the blame, not his rookie QB.
But ya he clearly was not mentally ready for that situation and he took too long to calm his nerves, regain his bearings, whatever you want to call it and the coach shouldn't have put. Him in that situation or at least realized that his so called 18 seconds was BULLSHIT because it got to that and no one was ready. He should have called it at that point, drew up a short pass and maydayed the kicking team out using the same Oline minus maybe the snapper if it ended inbounds.
The Dolphins loss last night gave them a big kick in the balls. They will need to catch one of the current wild-card teams: (1) the 8-3 Steelers or the 8-4 Ravens; (2) the 7-5 Chargers; or (3) the 7-5 Broncos. (They’ll also have to fend off the 5-7 Colts and the 4-7 Bengals.) Thats a tough way to go.
I Vote Eberflus..........WOW that was hard to watch yesterday and Matt should be FIRED Today......BLACK FRIDAY.
