that's why that loss to Detroit was so bad for the Eagles, now they lose again and are 3-2. Their line stinks and def was swiss cheese as the wr corps from DC shredded them to pieces. Wentz played as well as he could and Special Teams did more than enough to put up 14 pts. Pederson again looks overmatched and has no scheme to win a winnable game. Not with Big D next week.
Most likely, but I wouldn't put it past Bradford to choke under the pressure of his old team if they can't establish a run. The Steelers will have 3 losses as well.
You got it backwards...wow impressive. My point was the system is trash not somebody was cheating. What NBC left out last year in the opener is the Patriots were ALSO getting the radio feed of the Pats play-by-play radio guys just like the Steelers were. Most coaches just don't bitch and moan like Tomlin does. Belichick never used the communications going down as an excuse for losing SB 46.
This sucks http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...er-will-have-surgery-to-repair-torn-meniscus/ this was going to be the matchup of the season with the AFC's top 2 offenses going at it.
Brock Osweiler rebounded from a poor start to lead three consecutive scoring drives and Nick Novak kicked a 33-yard field goal in overtime to send the Houston Texans (4-2) past the Indianapolis Colts (2-4), 26-23.
POST SEASON? Can the weather this storm to not lose every game until he comes back? Brown was like Casper once Ben was gone. The Steelers were like lost kittens out there in a storm when Ben was out. This is a huge blow to the Steelers and their season unless the surgery is some 2-3 week quickie rehab. if he's out LT and over 5 games, this could be a death sentence on their season unless Jones turns into a real QB.
hmm? Bradford back at his old stomping grounds? He will be a bottle of nerves and his nerves aren't that good to begin with. To save their season, the Eagles better right the ship after 2 bad losses. The Wentz wagon looks wobbly right now.
Vontaze Burfict is embroiled in another hit controversy. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday that the NFL is reviewing Burfict's hit on Patriots tight end Martellus Bennett from the fourth quarter of Sunday's 35-17 New England victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. The review will follow standard procedure, but Rapoport notes we should expect a big fine, not a suspension for Burfict. The Bengals linebacker hit Bennett low on a pass down field from Tom Brady to Danny Amendola. The hit occurred away from the play. Bennett said after the game that Burfict apologized for the low blow: "He said he didn't try to do it. But it's part of the game. Stuff happens," via USA Today's Tom Pelissero. Burfict's history will certainly be a factor in discipline. The 26-year-old linebacker was suspended for the first three games this season for repeated violations of safety-related playing rules. He'd previously been fined four times in 2015 alone for such violations. Whether or not Burfict intended to injure Bennett, the low hit was unnecessary and away from the play. With health and safety a focal point for the league office, a repeat offender like Burfict won't be given the benefit of the doubt on such hits.
The Wentz wagon is fine. He won rookie of the week last week despite the loss and interception and this week he looked great but his numbers took a hit because of all the dumb penalties. Anyone who watched the game was impressed with Wentz.
