Crazy that they miss that. I don't really understand the protocol of how with some things they'll get buzzed by NY and change a decision but some things they won't. I was waiting for that to be overturned.

 

Its simply deemed by the League as a non-reviewable play, so there wasnt going to be an overturn unless a zebra on the field seen it.

The NFL must make facemask penalties reviewable! The facemask calls were an original penalty designed for player safety and it still cant get reviewed? The Zebras even discussed what happened on the play and not one of them was in position to see the 'obvious' penalty. Go figure.

Minnesota may have still lost the game, but if the penalty was called, they would have had the ball 1st down at the 20 with 1:36 on the clock. They would have had the opportunity to score, go for 2 and force OT, but we'll never know now because of blind zebras and Goodell's inability to get the Leagues shit together.

Not just miffed because im a die-hard, lifelong Vikings fan, but every single game for every team this entire season is loaded with controversy and its getting worse. I understand with todays technologies, we as fans see a lot more than we did in the 70's through the 90's and so forth, so why cant the League actually help the zebras out and review the stinking controversial plays?

 

Tell me how the hell the refs miss this... its so freeking blatant and obvious!
