Report: Micah Parsons to miss 7-10 days, then be re-evaluated The Cowboys won’t have Micah Parsons, for now. For how long that lasts remains to be seen. Via Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Parsons’s high-ankle sprain will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days. The injury happened late in Thursday night’s 20-15 win over the Giants. That means he’ll miss next Sunday night’s game at Pittsburgh, and that he quite possibly will miss the Week 6 home game against the Lions. The Cowboys have a bye in Week 7. Parsons should refuse to play until he’s 100 percent. He’s making $3 million this year, and the team has not taken on the injury risk by giving him the second contract he has earned. There’s no reason to risk aggravating the injury and/or creating a situation that will impact his ability to get paid the way he should. PFT
Holy cow... muffed catch on a Falcons punt and the Falcons pounce on it in the endzone, Atlanta up, 7-0 vs Saints.
6-0, Jets over the Broncos... Nix, 16 yards - Rodgers, 93 tards Darnold just got picked, I guess he's human.
Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson has been ruled out against the Steelers after exiting Sunday's game in the first quarter with a hip injury. Richardson slid awkwardly at the end of a 1-yard run at the Pittsburgh 5-yard line, forcing an accidental helmet-to-helmet hit from Minkah Fitzpatrick. The Colts QB got up under his own power and limped to the sideline before heading to the locker room. The Colts deemed Richardson as questionable to return before ruling him out early in the second quarter.
Fields just ran one in, 20-17 Colts... K Williams scores for the Rams, 2-pt conversion was no good, 17-15 Bears in a close one.
Impressive drive by Love and the Packers defense playing well in the second half and its tightening up, Vikings 28, Packers 14
Commanders paste Cardinals 42-14 for third straight win The Commanders didn’t score every time they had the ball on Sunday, but they came awfully close. Jayden Daniels ran for a touchdown and threw for another to lead the Commanders to a 42-14 win over the Cardinals in Arizona. It’s the third straight win for a Commanders team that will move into Week Five in sole possession of first place in the NFC East. The Commanders scored touchdowns on their first two drives to extend their streak of scoring to 16 straight possessions, but an interception and a punt brought a brief end to the scoring spree. A field goal before halftime kicked off a run of five more scoring drives, though, and the Commanders cruised to a win in the desert. Those five drives were their final five offensive possessions of the game, so the team will be able to make a run at an even longer run. Daniels was 26-of-30 for 233 yards and he ran eight times for 47 yards. Brian Robinson had 20 carries for 83 yards, Jeremy McNichols ran eight times for 68 yards and both men scored touchdowns as the Commanders ran all over the Arizona defense. It’s the second time in three weeks that the Commanders have posted more than 200 rushing yards and any defenses that aren’t already on high alert when Daniels and company roll into town should be now. Baltimore ended the game with 427 total yards, 271 of which came on the ground. Henry led the way with 199 yards on 24 carries. The Ravens tried to get him to 200 on their last drive, but came up just short. Jackson finished 13-of-18 passing for 156 yards with two touchdowns. He also rushed six times for 54 yards with a touchdown and a lost fumble. Allen finished 16-of-29 for 180 yards with a lost fumble. He also took five carries for 21 yards. Kalil Shakir led with 62 yards on four receptions. Now at 2-2, the Ravens will be on the road to take on the division-rival Bengals in Week 5. The 3-1 Bills will also be on the road to play the Texans.
Yesterdays win in Arizona was their most impressive so far, imo. I didnt expect that at all... road games are supposed to be tough. I guess if you project things based on a 'what have you done for me lately' then I cant see Dallas or Philly winning it, BUT, head to head with these Divisional rivals will tell us more. Washington, Philly and Dallas all have defensive problems and any of those games might be shootouts that could go either way. Its going to be fun to watch unfold.
