of course you did dawg as Brown nation sticks together! i would expect nothing less from the Browns faithful!
Our newest scandal has arrived https://thekicker.com/browns-fined-...nic&utm_source=TKFacebook&utm_medium=pagepost No comment from the league office, but execs around the league expect the Browns will be given an additional first and fourth round pick as punishment.
Hah sorry for your guy Kessler, I was disappointed he went down, was looking forward to getting a look at the kid. Pryor was a hell of a pickup, Mike Lombardi (former Pats exec and of course ex Browns GM) said the Pats really blew it when they decided not to sign him last year.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) ? Roberto Aguayo's shaky rookie season got a big lift Monday night. The rookie made up for missing two earlier field goals by converting a 38-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the Carolina Panthers 17-14 on Monday night. Aguayo, the most accurate kicker in NCAA history, had clanked a 33-yard field goal attempt off the right upright and missed wide left from 46 yards that would have given the Bucs the lead with 3:38 left in the game. He was just 3 of 7 on the season before the winning kick. "Obviously you get a little angry when you miss them," Agauyo said. "You can't dwell on it or you won be ready for the next one." When asked how comfortable he was with the field position on the final kick, Bucs coach Dirk Koetter replied, "I wasn't comfortable. We couldn't get close enough." Jameis Winston was 18 of 30 for 219 yards and threw a TD pass to Mike Evans . He also led a 66-yard drive to get the Buccaneers (2-3) into field goal range. A costly 15-yard facemask penalty on Kony Ealy hurt the Panthers along the way. Jacquizz Rodgers ran for 101 yards on 30 carries in place of the injured Doug Martin. ____________________________ 1-4 start for the Panthers... wow!
the NFL needs to rethink who plays on Monday night as that game was a stinker. I know it's well done in advance but how many bad games is this now for Monday and Thursday nights? Thank God Baseball was on and hockey starts tonight!
How is anyone supposed to know Carolina is going to crap the bed after going 15-1 and losing the SB? Last years MVP is now the leagues least valuable player. Monday Night Games are not the cream of the crop games they used to pick before when NBC had it.
Gid-how many times were the Eagles on Monday night last year? I think more than 3 or 4 times. They stunk last year. The games this year have stunk. This is not about Carolina. It's the decision making in whatever year to decide what game is best to have on Monday night. Ratings are down on Thursdays and Mondays. The game selection is part of that. And with baseball on, who the hell is watching MNF anyways? I'm just saying the games have been pretty ugly and Thursday aren't much better.
Then don't watch Cat...this is still a free country for a few more months until this election is over...
dawg-that's not the point. for all the millions they NFL makes, you would think they would have some smart people in deciding who plays on prime time. the EAGLES-BEARS in week 2 doesn't breathe excitement to me for a prime time game whereas the Steelers-Patriots does.
ESPN use to have crappy Sunday night games. Now they have crappy Monday night games. NBC used to have pretty good Monday night games, and now they have good Sunday night games. I think it has to do with the network showing the games and not the league.
One mans idea of crappy, might be another mans treasure? Im glad Tampa Bay knocked down the Panthers. May have not been the greatest football game in history, but hey, it was football. They all wont stink and the variety is cool by me.
