Oh man, I just got home and the first thing I do before I even pee is to check the scoreboard... VIKINGS WIN, YES, so I fist pump myself and start to read the L4SN post's... Jefferson was injured I read, my heart stoped for a moment... (in the words of Jim Morrison; "a change of mood from glad to sadness - LA Woman). I research and "Jets" says he's cool, not seriously injured, sigh of relief for now, but what a day around the NFL today.

Ravens, Cowboys and Lions all made me laugh my ass off.

You must be on cloud 9 brother; Saints look heavenly at the moment... can they keep this up? Is this real?

In regards to the Lions and Buccaneers game the gambling sites that I seen had this as a high scoring game with the over at 51 at times... they missed.

I still cannot believe the Bears are wearing orange uni's. Some things use to be sacred, but today they do things different and Im not a fan.

The 2024 Saints are performing, so far, like the 2009 Saints

Hanging 47 points on the Panthers in the Superdome wasn’t impressive. Dropping 44 on the Cowboys in their own building was.

This also is: The 2024 Saints have scored 91 points in their first two games. That’s the most points any team has scored in the first two games of a season since the 2009 Saints, who scored 93.

The 91 points scored by the ’24 Saints matches the 1971 Cowboys for fourth on the all-time points-scored-in-the-first-two-games list. Only the 1968 Raiders (with 95), the 2009 Saints (again, with 93), and the 1920 Rock Island Independents (with 93) had more.

The Saints also are the third team since 1970 to score 44 or more points in three straight regular-season games; they finished the 2023 season by scoring 48. The 2018 Saints did it, as did the 2007 Patriots.

It’s great news for a team that has been mired in a funk since the departure of Sean Payton. New offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak has given the offense a kick in the ass, and quarterback Derek Carr is playing as well as he ever has.

While there’s a long way to go, the Saints have the early gleam of a Super Bowl team. And, this year, the Super Bowl will be played in New Orleans.

 

Malik Nabers is youngest player ever to have 10-catch, 100-yard, 1-touchdown game

Nabers was 21 years and 49 days old on Sunday, making him the youngest player ever with at least 10 receptions, 100 receiving yards and a touchdown catch in a game.

The previous record belonged to Gern Nagler of the Chicago Cardinals, who was 21 years and 251 days old on November 1, 1953, when he had 10 catches for 124 yards and a touchdown in a game.

 

Sources: Chiefs' Isiah Pacheco (fibula) expected to go on IR

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco is expected to land on injured reserve after suffering a fibula injury during Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday.

Pacheco underwent X-rays on Sunday night and will have an MRI on Monday to determine whether there is a fracture and/or ligament damage to his right ankle, sources told ESPN. He left Arrowhead Stadium on crutches and with his right foot in a walking boot after Sunday's 26-25 win.

"I know it won't be this week and it'll probably be more than that," Chiefs coach Andy Reid said about a potential timeline for Pacheco's return. "... It's going to take a little bit of time there.''

Terrible news for the Chiefs and fantasy owners. Even Young's mother is bummed.

 

They're so bad. Bears can't even get the uniforms right.

Last season on socials i saw these mock ups for basically the all-whites they used to wear on the road in the late 2000s, but also with a white helmet. They called it the polar bears. It was simple, but it looked cool. Hell of a lot better than the orange anyway.

9ers receiver Deebo Samuel strained a calf during Sunday’s loss to the Vikings.

Coach Kyle Shanahan told beat reporters that Samuel will miss “a couple weeks.”

“He told me he thinks he did it when he caught [a pass for a 2-yard gain]; I think it was like the third to last play [on offense],” Shanahan said, via David Bonilla of 49erswebzone.com. “They had a blitz down in the red zone. He caught the hot route, breaking in. He says he thinks he did it on that play. I think there was only like two or three plays after that play, though.”
