Bryce Huff agrees to three-year deal with Eagles

The Eagles are set to add one of the top free agent pass rushers on this year’s market.

Bryce Huff has agreed to leave the Jets in order to sign with the NFC East club. Adam Schefter reports that it is a three-year, $51.1 million deal and that it will make Huff the highest-paid undrafted non-quarterback in NFL history.

I forgot about this one. Ya. This is really interesting. He is just a passing down guy too. Great on the rush and nothing else. More extreme version of Frank Clark.

Raiders signing DT Christian Wilkins to four-year, $110 million deal

The Raiders are expected to sign Dolphins Pro Bowl defensive tackle Christian Wilkins to a four-year deal worth a base value of $110 million, with $84.75 million of it guaranteed, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Monday.

The Dolphins opted to not franchise tag Wilkins despite him coming off a career season in 2023. The 28-year-old Wilkins hit career highs in sacks (nine), QB pressures (61) and QB hits (23), in spite of the Dolphins' defense being decimated by injuries late in the season. He also added 65 tackles (10 for losses), one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries in his fifth NFL season.

Gus Edwards, Chargers agree to two-year deal

Running back Gus Edwards is going from one Harbaugh brother to another.

Edwards has agreed to sign with the Chargers, according to multiple reports.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter notes Edwards’ deal is for two seasons.

Edwards, who turns 29 in April, spent each of his first five seasons with the Ravens. After missing the entire 2021 season due to a knee injury and much of the 2022 season with lingering issues, Edwards rushed for a career-high 810 yards with 13 touchdowns in 2023. He appeared in all 17 games for Baltimore with nine starts, playing 42 percent of the team’s offensive snaps.

Floyd, 31, spent the 2023 season with the Bills. He tied a career-high with 10.5 sacks, also recording nine tackles for loss and 19 quarterback hits. He was on the field for 54 percent of Buffalo’s defensive snaps.

The New York Giants didn't waste much time addressing the loss of Saquon Barkley.

The Giants and running back Devin Singletary have reached an agreement on a free-agent contract, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Monday.

Singletary, nicknamed "Motor," has been a consistent producer since entering the NFL in 2019, helping change the trajectory of the Houston Texans' season in 2023. After opening last season as the No. 2 back in Houston behind Dameon Pierce during the team's 3-4 start, Singletary started the final 10 in the backfield.

Singletary, 26, gave the Texans' offense a better fit, producing a career-high rushing 898 yards in the process. In his 10 starts, he averaged 71.5 rushing yards and scored four times. On the season, Singletary also caught 30 passes for 193 yards and threw a TD pass in a win over the Steelers.

Barkley, who is signing with the Eagles, has been the more explosive player of the two, but Singletary's consistency is one of his hallmarks. In his career, he has run for between 687 and 898 yards and totaled between 193 and 280 receiving yards in each of his five NFL seasons. He's only missed one game over the past three seasons combined, whereas Barkley missed three games last season alone and 25 over his past five seasons.

The 5-foot-7, 203-pound Singletary was a third-round pick (74th overall) of the Buffalo Bills in the 2019 NFL Draft. Giants general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll were both on staff in Buffalo for the first three years of his career.

The Jaguars have agreed to terms with returner Devin Duvernay.

Duvernay, 26, will get a two-year contract with an $8.5 million base and a maximum value of $12.5 million, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports.

He spent his first four seasons with the Ravens after they made him a third-round pick, and Duvernay earned All-Pro honors as a returner in 2021.

In his career, Duvernay has totaled 94 catches for 898 yards and five touchdowns. He also 27 rushes for 219 yards and a touchdown.

He has excelled as a returner, averaging 12.8 yards on 69 punt returns and 24.8 yards on 73 kickoff returns with two touchdowns.

The Chargers have agreed to terms with free agent tight end Will Dissly on a three-year, $14 million deal with $10 million fully guaranteed, Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report reports.

Dissly, 27, entered the NFL in 2018 as a fourth-round pick of the Seahawks. He has spent his entire career in Seattle.

In 16 games in 2023, Dissly made 17 catches for 172 yards and a touchdown. He saw action on 380 offensive snaps and 178 on special teams.

In his six-year career, he has 127 receptions for 1,421 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Veteran cornerback Carlton Davis is on the move from Tampa Bay to Detroit.

The Lions are acquiring Davis in a trade from the Buccaneers, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

There’s been no word on what the terms of the trade are. Davis is owed a base salary of $14 million this season, with nothing guaranteed, so it wouldn’t be surprising if a renegotiation of that contract is in the offing.

Last year Davis started all 12 games he was healthy enough to play in the regular season, as well as both postseason games. He’s likely to start in Detroit this year as well, as the Lions have acquired a good player — though a player the Bucs weren’t eager to pay $14 million.

Defensive end Marcus Davenport is set to leave the Vikings for a divisional rival.

NFL Media reports that Davenport has agreed to sign with the Lions. It’s a one-year deal in the Motor City for him.

Davenport joined the Vikings last year after spending five seasons with the Saints. Davenport appeared in four games before suffering an ankle injury that put him on injured reserve and he missed the rest of the season.

Davenport had seven tackles and two sacks before his injury. He had 142 tackles, 21.5 sacks, seven forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery during his time in New Orleans.
