Thanks for your input. I agree. The Chiefs (Ried and Mahomes) wanted the Ref to tell them or warn them, I feel there is responsibility on the players to actually lineup correctly.

Secondly, how many times have people around the NFL and even on this site think and say how the Chiefs have been getting the benefit of the doubt when it comes to calls? One time it goes against them with evidence (looking at the photos/video), they have a meltdown.

Officiating has been sub-par, to say the least, but this is on the Chiefs, especially Toney.

Curious what others think as well.

Justin Jefferson day-to-day with chest injury

Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson left Sunday’s 3-0 win over the Raiders with a chest injury, but it doesn’t look like he’s facing another long-term absence from the lineup.

The injury occurred in Jefferson’s return after missing seven games with a hamstring injury and he went to the hospital to be evaluated after leaving the game. Jefferson was released in time to return to Minnesota with the team and head coach Kevin O’Connell said the team was encouraged by the wideout’s condition.

O’Connell offered another positive update on Jefferson’s health Monday. He told reporters that Jefferson is considered day-to-day and that he thinks there’s a good chance that he will be able to play against the Bengals on Saturday.

Jefferson had two catches for 27 yards against the Raiders and has 38 catches for 598 yards and three touchdowns this season.

Gamedays are for watching the games now, not sitting online complaining about them. I’m actually getting together with friends to watch on Sundays again. It’s a lot of fun.

This season seems like anyone that makes the playoffs has a chance to win it all. Nobody looks invincible.

Browns’ Ogbo Okoronkwo has pec injury, may miss rest of season

Browns defensive end Ogbo Okoronkwo may be done for the year.

Okoronkwo suffered a pectoral injury that might end his 2023 season. Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski was asked today if Okoronkwo will miss the rest of the season and said that’s a possibility but he doesn’t know for sure.

“I don’t have final confirmation on Ogbo just yet,” Stefanski said. “It might be heading that way, but I’m holding out hope.”

Okoronkwo has played all 13 games as a situational pass rusher and is second on the Browns with 4.5 sacks.

Safety Grant Delpit has been placed on injured reserve with the groin issue he suffered in Sunday’s victory over the Jaguars.

But according to multiple reports, there is hope Delpit can return for the postseason. At 8-5, the Browns are the AFC’s current No. 5 seed.

Delpit just signed a three-year extension with Cleveland.

As a corresponding move, the Browns signed veteran safety Duron Harmon to the 53-man roster off of their practice squad.

Harmon appeared in three games for the Bears earlier this season before he was released on Nov. 8. He signed with Cleveland’s practice squad on Nov. 22.

Additionally, the Browns signed offensive tackle Joey Fisher to the practice squad.
