The Falcons vs Buccaneers is a big game. Colts vs the Bengals is good. Jacksonville vs the Browns and Dallas vs Eagles is fun too. Buffalo at KC is important, but Im thinking both of these teams are turning into posers... its really weird how both of these teams seem to be a bit unbalanced when they have the talent they have. KC has no real identity outside of Mahomes and the Bills are unpredictable also. Good morning everybody! Welcome to Gameday!
Pretty good games going on unless your a kicker. Blocked punts, missed PAT's and FG's... kickers putting on a shit show today.
Max Crosby was in full beast mode... he was fun to watch. That guy is lightning fast when he hits and spins off a lineman, there was no answer for him by the Vikings o-line.
Razzle Dazzle by Kelce, catches the ball then passes it to Toney for a TD, BUT called back on an offside lol.
Justin Jefferson who got popped hard and injured in the Raiders game has been released from the hospital and is flying home with the team. O’Connell said at his postgame press conference that Jefferson has been diagnosed with an internal chest injury. O’Connell also said the team feels “pretty encouraged” about the initial read on the injury.
catches the ball then passes it to Toney for a TD, BUT called back on an offside lol. I'm going out on a Limb here and saying Toney just played his last game as a KC Chief.
Sunday Night Football: Cowboys dominate Eagles 33-13 The Cowboys made a case for being the best team in the NFC East with a 33-13 win over the Eagles, but they still will need help to win the division. Dallas and Philadelphia, which split the home-and-home series this season, both are 10-3. Both teams lost to the 49ers convincingly. The Cowboys, though, have a loss to the Cardinals, while the Eagles have a loss to the Jets, giving Philadelphia a better conference record. For now anyway. The Cowboys left no doubt who was the better team Sunday night after coming up inches short in Philadelphia earlier this season. They led from start to finish, scoring on the opening drive and leading 24-6 at halftime. The Eagles thought about making it a game after Jalen Carter’s 42-yard return of a Dak Prescott fumble cut the Cowboys’ lead to 24-13. Philadelphia had a chance to get within 27-20, but on fourth-and-8 from the Dallas 30 with 30 seconds left in the third quarter, the Cowboys sent the house. Hurts’ throw was rushed, and DeVonta Smith caught the ball for a 1-yard gain before Stephon Gilmore brought him down. Gilmore had a team-leading nine tackles and a forced fumble. The Eagles’ best offensive players — Hurts, Smith and A.J. Brown — each lost a fumble, losing the ball at the Dallas 31, Philadelphia 49 and Dallas 35. The Eagles also turned it over on downs at the Dallas 30, and they settled for Jake Elliott field goals after reaching the Dallas 34 and 26. Hurts was 18-of-27 for 197 yards and ran for 30 yards on five carries, while Brown caught nine passes for 94 yards. The Eagles now have lost back-to-back games by a combined score of 75-32. The Cowboys made a statement with a 15th consecutive win at home, beating a team that currently has a winning record for the first time. They scored on seven of nine possessions, with rookie kicker Brandon Aubrey connecting on field goals of 60, 59, 45 and 50 yards. He is 30-for-30, an NFL record to start a career. The Cowboys punted in the third quarter, their first punt since the third quarter of Thanksgiving Day. They gained 394 yards, with Prescott completing 24 of 39 passes for 271 yards and two touchdowns and putting his name firmly in the MVP conversation. Jake Ferguson caught five passes for 72 yards, and CeeDee Lamb caught six passes for 71 yards and a score. Michael Gallup and Rico Dowdle had the other touchdowns for the Cowboys. PFT
Bills-Chiefs ref Carl Cheffers says Kadarius Toney was “far offsides” The Chiefs were furious that an offside penalty on Kadarius Toney wiped out what could have been a game-winning touchdown in today’s loss to the Bills. But referee Carl Cheffers defended the call. Speaking to a pool reporter afterward, Cheffers was asked about Chiefs head coach Andy Reid saying that the Chiefs should have been warned if Toney was lining up offside. Cheffers said that if it had been close the Chiefs might have gotten a warning, but Toney was so far offside that it needed to be flagged. “Yes, ultimately, if they looked for alignment advice, certainly we are going to give it to them,” Cheffers said. “But ultimately, they are responsible for wherever they line up. And, certainly, no warning is required, especially if they are lined up so far offsides where they’re actually blocking our view of the ball. So, we would give them some sort of a warning if it was anywhere close, but this particular one is beyond a warning.” The penalty overturned what could have been the play of the year in the NFL, with Travis Kelce catching a pass from Patrick Mahomes before lateraling to Toney for the touchdown. But the flag was thrown, and the officials are standing by it. PFT _______ ______________ You make the call.
I think the officiating has been bad at times this year. It's only ignored when the call is right. Look at the photo. He is offsides. How can Toney not look down and see that. That's a basic thing. In the end, I think it's on him.
