Sheit - ANOTHER of my WRs hurt.

Over two leagues I have Keenan Allen, Donte Moncrief, Sammy Watkins and Brandon Marshall.

Hoping Marshall can gut it out.

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) ? Adrian Peterson will undergo surgery on his right knee to repair a torn meniscus and Minnesota Vikings coach Mike Zimmer says the star running back could return this season.

Peterson was injured in Sunday night's victory over Green Bay.

The 2012 league MVP made a fast recovery from a torn ACL in his left knee suffered at the end of the 2011 season, then rushed for more than 2,000 yards in 2012.

Minnesota (2-0) on Wednesday signed running back Ronnie Hillman, who was with the Broncos when they won the Super Bowl last season. Jerick McKinnon will start at Carolina.

The Vikings also placed starting left tackle Matt Kalil on injured reserve with a hip problem that will require surgery.

Pretty sure that is the surgery Leveon had last year.

So Dak Prescott broke the record for most pass attempts to start a career without an interception. He is at 75. Wentz however is not far behind at 71. If I'm not mistaken they may be 1-2.

Huh - he was gonna jump BEFORE the game. Guess he could see the writing on the wall for his Deadskins.

Adrian Peterson is gone until November (at the earliest).

The Vikings placed their franchise star on injured reserve Friday, according to an announcement made by the team. Peterson suffered a torn meniscus in a Sunday night victory over the Packers last week. He underwent surgery on Thursday.

Should Peterson be able to make a recovery, he would be the Vikings' most obvious candidate for IR-designated to return. Under the new rule, teams do not have to designate which of their IR players are coming back up front. At the earliest, Peterson would be allowed to play again on Nov. 20 in a game against the Cardinals, though it is widely believed that he will miss at least another few weeks after that.

I saw this story on NFL.com and I was surprised at the number of fans who want AP gone. I could understand lowering his crazy $18 million cap number, and he's on the wrong side of 30, but he's also been the top weapon for the Vikings for a long time. Just found it strange i all.

I think those people who want him gone are just tired of the AP show... AP has been looking at a different QB since forever and does a great job in the running department which is suffering because the O-line and the passing game cant get it together.

Some folks are thinking the Vikings are going to be better now offensively without AP in the backfield. Im curious to see how McKinnon and Asiata do with their opportunity.

AP cant last forever tho, so maybe its getting close to time to finding a new RB...
