Im going to guess, Hopkins lands in NY with the Giants or Buffalo with the Bills.

I'm sure he'd be interested in Buffalo. The question there is whether Buffalo could (or would) make the moves needed to clear the cap space to land him. At this point they don't have the room to sign a Hopkins bobblehead doll, never mind the real thing.

He appeared on a podcast where he named Allen, Mahomes, Hurts, Justin Herbert and Lamar Jackson as the five QBs he'd most like to play with.

I'm reading that the Patriots are going to be among the teams chasing him. He loves Belichick, but how would he feel about reuniting with Bill O'Brien after the Texans traded him to Arizona on the cheap? Seems like that might be a wee bit of a hurdle.

Two other teams that came to mind for me... he named Hurts and Herbert as top QBs he'd like to play with, so how about Trevor Lawrence? Jacksonville has the cap space to make it happen, and he'd be the veteran leader of a WR group that also includes Christian Kirk, Zay Jones and Calvin Ridley. He'd also get to stomp on the Texans twice a year.

And the other one that obviously has to be mentioned... the Jets are going all-in to win now. DeAndre Hopkins as another shiny toy for Aaron Rodgers? The really scary thing about it is the Jets could potentially then trade or release Corey Davis (which is rumored to be in the cards anyway) and actually come out AHEAD on the salary cap.

On the other hand, there is this stuff...

Hopkins doesnt have an officially recognized agent, in fact he has some nut named Omni, who the NFL probably or may not deal with because of his unrecognition by the League.

Point #2 - No one signed Hopkins the first time around, which indicates, no one wants that kinda contract Hopkins is demanding, so as it stands, there might be a possibility no one takes him on, lol. It sounds like from what Ive read, Hopkins needs to get some work done and become a viable team friendly deal.

On the first count, the NFL franchise is not allowed to deal with someone not recognized by the league and NFLPA.

Exactly, thank you, I wasnt sure if it was written in stone.

Irish, you made me think of something... would the Browns be a good fit for Hopkins?

I don’t think he will be on the radar. They’ve already made a lot of moves at the position this off-season.

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris is a national treasure and we hope he never leaves the team. Harris got caught on Camera at OTAs getting a little petty as he did his best impression of teammate Pat Freiermuth. You’ve got to check it out.

Harris is one of the funniest and more gregarious players on the team. He always makes the most of any opportunity he gets in front of the camera but he it comes to the field, he is all business.

Jon Gruden reportedly resurfaced with an NFL team last week more than a year after the backlash from an email leak forced him to step down as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders.

Gruden is helping Derek Carr get familiar with the Saints’ offense under head coach Dennis Allen, who served under the former head coach while the two were with Las Vegas, according to NOLA.com.

With his first foray into free agency officially starting later today, receiver DeAndre Hopkins reportedly has hired an agent.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Hopkins has hired Kelton Crenshaw of Clutch Sports.

As recently explained, non-certified agent Saint Omni was believed to be running the show for Hopkins. It prompted at least one team to avoid Hopkins altogether. Multiple teams had decided not to communicate with Hopkins by email, given the habit of players setting up email accounts that their non-certified agents would use to negotiate with teams, while pretending to be the player.

This will be a delicate negotiation, with Hopkins trying to leverage the Chiefs-Bills rivalry into the best possible deal. The extra benefit from getting him comes from keeping the other team from having him.

Play it right, and Hopkins could end up in a much better situation.

The move also suggests that Hopkins isn’t happy with the numbers he’s hearing so far from interested teams, dating back to negotiations that occurred regarding a possible trade for Hopkins.

Andy Reid spoke up first followed by John Harbaugh and now Belichick had a comment...

Asked by reporters on Wednesday about the adoption of the college fair catch rule, which gives the receiving team possession at the 25 for any fair catch between the goal line and the field of play, Belichick said this: “We’ll see about all that. I know Coach [John] Harbaugh was pretty involved in that, Coach [Andy] Reid. I think they voiced some comments on it. I probably agree with the things they said.”

Jets coach Robert Saleh 'very optimistic' RB Breece Hall (ACL) will be ready Week 1

The New York Jets remain hopeful dynamic running back Breece Hall will be ready to kick off the 2023 regular season after last year's ACL tear.

"I'm very optimistic on that one," coach Robert Saleh said Wednesday. "I don't want to jinx it. (knocks on wood) I mean, the kid's already hitting over 22 (mph) on the GPS, so he looks frickin' good."

The 2022 second-round pick shot out of the gate last season, providing Gang Green with a home-run threat out of the backfield. Hall rushed for 463 yards and four touchdowns on 80 carries and added 218 receiving yards on 19 catches with a TD in seven games before suffering the knee injury in October.

The Jets will bring Hall along slowly during the early portions of offseason work, including current OTAs, with the hope that he's closer to full-go for training camp in July.

"He looks good," Saleh said. "Again, he's one of those kids that we've had to kind of hold back from him because -- it's weird to say it, you don't want to heal too fast on an ACL. You've got to be able to balance it out with strength. He looks strong. He looks powerful. He's learning. I'm excited for him to get back on the field. I feel like he won't need to be limited during training camp, even though we still will just to be conscientious and cautious with him, but he looks awesome."

With Aaron Rodgers on board and a revamped wide receiver corps, the Jets' offense would be magnitudes more explosive if Hall is ready for Week 1 and doesn't show ill effects from the type of knee injury that has curtailed other running backs for more than a year.
