Axl was good, not great, on Appetite For Destruction, but I cant stand him or his squeaky voice since that first album.

He danced/moved like a woman, big turn off.

A couple of other hard rock replacement singers that nailed it: (obviously) Ian Gillan for Deep Purple, and also Bruce Dickenson for Iron Maiden. Coolest thing about Dickenson is that he was also a pilot.

I thought Gillan was the original singer. I know for sure he was on the album that made them big, Machine Head.

Rod Evans was the singer for their first three albums, on their original label (Tetragramatton). Best known song they did with him on vocals was "Hush".

Hush was their best song. Smoke on the Water is what got them a top billing. Isn’t that album with Hush called a Deeper Shade of Purple?

Shades Of Deep Purple, yes. That was their first album.

The Los Angeles Rams are a joke. For real. How does this happen? Screenshot_20230418_105541_Twitter.jpg

Its not like the season is starting next week there is still plenty of time to get all of those players

Sure but Stafford has a bum arm and you need camp bodies. Also, special teams are pretty important.

Eh. I'm not sure that you're too worried about special teams at this stage. It's OTA's - you're just talking early installs, workouts, etc.

QB room is another thing entirely, though. You don't need people throwing, but you would like to have all of your quarterbacks in the building for early installs.

Yeah, they're not kicking or anything yet but this is where you start to mold and see what schemes you're going with. To have nobody? I wouldn't be super happy about it.

Allen Robinson, if he clears his physical, is going from the Rams to Steelers.

I hope they're not giving up any of their draft picks this year for him. They've got three in the top 50 but it's slim after that.

Robinson is a bit Meh in my book. Better than Claypool but still, not wowed.

Typically, Special Teams Coordinators are at the bottom of the food chain when it involves schemes. For one, (with few exceptions) you're not going to know what talent you're going to have to implement schemes until the starting offense and defense are established because you normally get players on Special Teams who are not starters elsewhere. Prior to week 1, The biggest impact by the STC is on cut-down day when he can contribute to either keep or cut "bubble" players.

It's a late Day 3 pick from what I've seen.

Meh several teams have successfully replaced their kicker in mid season (for multiple reasons) so not sure how big of a deal it is for a kicker. I would want more QBs but again it's not mandatory camps so.im not as worried.

The kicker/punter thing is weird, but meh. The ko quarterbacks is pure stupidity. Even if it's optional and no big deal, you have to have arms other than Staffords. Guys should be getting information at the very least.

It's phase one of OTAs. Meetings, weight room and physical rehab only. Nothing on the field is allowed for the first two weeks. And then it's just basic drills for the next three weeks after that - no offense vs defense stuff.

I know. My point is, you want people in the facility. It doesn't benefit anyone on the team or the team itself to not have at least another quarterback and other positions.
