Inexperience for the Dolphins is obvious.

I'm failing to see how the takeaway from this game is 'Tua sucks so bad that Skylar looks just like em!'.

Tua has been consistently near the top of all passers in efficiency categories and the fact this game is close only lends to the idea that had he suited up in this one, the potential for Buffalo to get boat raced is much higher than the potential for the score to be the same as it is now.

    Skylar is 18/45...

Tua's completion percentage was near 70% on the season.

People can knock Tua all they want he plays this game.they win Tua is a much better QB than people think he is.

That's just about the best drive you can ask for by Minnesota. 6+ minutes capped by a TD.

I would venture less false starts and delay of game penalties.

Skyler compared to Tua is apples and oranges and it showed today, imo. Tua is by far the better QB and his passer ratting was near 105 before going down. I agree, the game may have had a completely opposite outcome, in favor of the Fish. Tua is talented and has great potential, just wish he can stay healthy and was out there today.

I would also say if Tua play the whole year they aren't even facing the Bills today.

    Peo
Oddly enough Tua playing could have cut down on the false starts as the line is used to his cadence.

Bills survive to beat Dolphins, advance to divisional round

The Bills won today, but it wasn’t easy.

The 14-point underdog Dolphins proved to be a surprisingly tough opponent in the wild card round, as third-string quarterback Skylar Thompson played well enough to make the game competitive down to the final minutes before Buffalo ultimately won 34-31.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen threw for more than 350 yards and three touchdowns, but he also had two costly interceptions, and wasn’t at his best for much of the game. After a great start got the Bills off to a 17-0 lead, Allen and Buffalo’s offense were surprisingly shaky.

Still, the Bills just had too much for the Dolphins in the end. Miami’s offense failed to convert a big fourth down with just over two minutes remaining, missing the Dolphins’ last, best chance at a comeback win. The Bills (barely) got one first down on their subsequent drive, and won the game.

The Bills will now play at home next weekend in the divisional round, facing either the Jaguars or Bengals. They’ll need to play better to beat Trevor Lawrence or Joe Burrow than they had to play to beat Skylar Thompson.

Giants put it all on QB Daniel Jones, and he shined in playoff win over Vikings

When the New York Giants drafted Daniel Jones sixth overall, it was ridiculed. When the Giants didn't pick up the fifth-year option on his rookie deal, that seemed to cement him as a bust. By the end of his third season, the only hope was that new coach Brian Daboll could completely turn him around. It's not like the Giants gave him a lot of talent to throw to.

Former general manager Dave Gettleman did a lot wrong, but maybe he got it right with Jones. Sunday's win over the Minnesota Vikings in a wild-card playoff game was mostly about Jones being awesome. The Giants put everything on his shoulders and he carved up the Vikings. Jones threw for 301 yards, to receivers who might not start for many other playoff teams, and also rushed for 78 yards. The Giants are moving onto the divisional round and will play at the Philadelphia Eagles next week after the 31-24 win.

Offense didn’t light the world on fire either. Wtf was Cousins thinking on his last throw? 4th and 8 and throw a 3 yard out to TE? In the playoffs and don’t give your team a chance for a first down.
