Steichen is the perfect head coach for this pick. He knows how to use the run game to protect early weaknesses. He can use his legs, he can use play action. We have the best Guard in football, and Jonathan Taylor. This is awesome. I go back to some of the debates I had with @Campbell the Watson/Trubisky/Mahomes draft. Credit to him, he saw more in Mahomes than I. I get this guy has a bit of a ways to go as a consistent passer, but I've learned not to bet against the upside. Whether it proves to work out or fail, I don't think any sane person can actually watch 3+ games from Richardson and deny the upside. It's insane.
Not sure I would call it falling, many thought he would be the 4th, some 5th behind Hooker. His times coming. I don’t think he makes it out of the top 10.
Don’t forget he had the strongest arm in this draft class.. I didn’t think anything of Josh Allen coming out in the draft, but I shit the bed on that one: Richardson reminds me more of him than Hurts.
