Have you ever seen a team punt on 4th and Goal? In all fairness, it was fourth-and-goal from the 48-yard line. On first down, Illinois quarterback Coran Taylor rushed for no gain and the Illini was flagged for a personal foul penalty that pushed the ball back to the 25. On the very next play, Taylor fumbled, and the ball was recovered by teammate Casey Washington for a 23-yard loss. The third down pass from Taylor was incomplete, forcing the unusual fourth-and-goal punt.
