This was a big notch in the belt for my Badgers today. Taylor owned them in the first quarter then basically took the rest of the game off. I am still a little worried about the lack of the rush getting sacks but they hit Shae and McCaffrey about every play that they set up to pass, so not too shabby of a day. The first targeting call was bs, but the 2nd was totally warranted.

The kid tore it up and would've been safe anyways.
typical small coached game from ND's Brian Kelly. where was the offense? one or two deep balls down field and that's it? where was the passing? their only real passes were cheap ones over the middle of the field or to the sidelines. nothing of real substance. absolutely no running game. 4th and 3 in the first qtr - kick the damn fg idiot. 4th and 3 is a low percentage play and especially when your center snaps it too early and past your QB! Why didn't Ian Book run? Why did he just sit in the pocket ? Baffling for a running QB to not run! Whoever that ND linemen is with 4 individual penalties has 3 choices-do laps around the field until you die. leave the team now and never come back or apologize to the team and never have a penalty again. wtf. 4 penalties on him alone. entire team was sloppy. ND will never beat a top team with Kelly. They're too good and his play calling is too weak. I love when Lou Holtz coached. He would open up the playbook and air it out! Hell even fat tuna charlie weis aired it out. Kelly doesn't. Wasn't impressed with UGA either. Georgia should've blown out this team. Crowd noise helped them. I would've ran Swift until he dropped dead./ Frome didn't do all that much. the fact that ND had a chance to win the game at the end was a sign this was a bad game from both team. tight, but bad overall. more on the ugly side. Clemson and Bama were laughing watching this game.
