I see the Hurricanes came back and won and Ward did well. @dlinebass5 may have had a scare for a bit.
It's always Va Tech, man. That's always the game you circle on the calendar as "This can go badly even when it shouldn't", every year. They pulled it out in the end. An incredibly fun game to watch, regardless of whether my team was involved or not. Could go for thrillers like that every week. Minnesota almost beat Michigan. They almost did it. Heartbreaker of an ending. We love seeing teams #6 and up lose, baby. Way to go, Kentucky!
Kentucky over #6 Ole Miss was huge. Right now, Alabama is steam-rolling Georgia and I dont mind that, but damn I hate both those teams.
I have to be honest... the Spartans are dangerous tonight and playing great defense. The Buckeyes have their hands full.
QB Howard for the Buckeyes gets injured, Brown comes in.... bang, he throws a TD. Nice way to start for Brown.
Arch Manning shined in his second start at quarterback for No. 1 Texas on Saturday as the Longhorns beat Mississippi State 35-13 with top QB Quinn Ewers still on the mend from an abdominal strain. It was the second straight start for Manning, who is now 2-0 but likely destined for a return to the backup role. Manning completed 26 of 31 passes for 324 yards and two touchdowns and no interceptions against the Bulldogs as Texas won its first conference game as a member of the SEC without too much stress. It marks Manning's first game with 300 passing yards. Manning also added a one-yard touchdown run that was set up by his own 26-yard scramble.
Jeremiah Smith is showing off in this Buckeye Spartans game also. He went up and made a one-handed grab, it was beautiful... and I mean he went way up.
Ala Cris Carter, Jeremiah Smith leaps and makes a beautiful 1 handed catch for a TD... again. 14-0 Buckeyes over the Hawkeyes in the 'eyes' Bowl.
What a crazy day of college football. Watched the Minnesota and the Miami games. Minny earned that win, for sure. So many times you figured that USC was gonna go score, and Minny forced a turnover, made a big stop, etc. Meanwhile, Miami beat themselves up so badly all night, and then pulled out huge miracles right after they shot themselves in the foot. I was so nervous all night that I genuinely felt sick. That whole game was "They can't convert 3rd and 20", and then they did, etc. Ugh. My heart.
@IrishDawg42 Your like on my notifications reminded me there was a new updated ranking... thank you... I like what Im seeing.
