US brings the entire WJC staff back. This seems to be rare and I dont know why. When a team wins it why not bring back the same staff? Even if a team doeasnt win but plays well, why not bring back the same staff. In such a short tourney being able to cut through the getting to know you phase seems extremely valuable. http://www.uscho.com/2017/04/21/st-...r-team-four-assistant-coaches-also-from-ncaa/

ya, and its gotta be tough to recruit to military schools. i see the youngest Starrett boy (G) just left AF for the pros......doesnt he have a military commitment to fulfill?
Thanks Matty. It looks like Buffalo is a winner here. (But of course I'm a biased ejit for the Sabres.). I do want to know why some names are in italics.
Typically, when you go to a military academy, you will have to do 2 years in active duty or sometimes the reserves. The US military academies decide on a case by case basis and they have probably become more flexible to the terms of those situations over the past few decades. David Robinson comes to mind when thinking about Academy athletes turning pro.
