Fact check(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_Dryden): Ken Dryden - one of the very best goalies ever - played NCAA hockey at Cornell, (Go Big Red!). He took a break from the NHL to earn a law degree at McGill, but to say "ken dryden (sic) was from mcgill university (sic)" is not accurate for the context of this discussion.
Yes, I remember him being connected to mcgill, I didn't know he was associated wth two schools. Tony O went to michigan and then went to the habs. Hey, the games on, in my seat.

BC has no business being that high, Im thinking middle of the conference for them.
Yeah, we've talked about the Falcons. BGSU has quietly had one heluva hockey program. And ... Dan Bylsma went there!
With Martin Garteig graduating, Quinnipiac lost their starting goalie. He is buried in the Canuck goalie pipeline.
ARZ State Sun Devils are skating as a D-1 independent this year. They'll be in Denver this month. Although I don't think they garnered any top-20 votes, they are going to be fun to watch.
Rob Blake, Garry Galley, Gino Cavallini, George McPhee, Neslon Emerson, Brian Holzinger.........not up to date on any newer players but I think Wayne Simmonds was going to go there. the Hamburglar went there. beauty unis- brown and orange.
I want to see ASU play, at home. They'll have the hottest cheering section hands down. BU just beat the US under 18 team 8-2 last night. they also probably raped and pillaged some village somewhere.
The Avs may suck, but there's going to be some great hockey in Denver this weekend. The #1 Univ. of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs are in town to face off against the #2 Univ. of Denver Pioneers. College hockey is the best!
I'm going for sure on Fri., and will try to catch the Sat. game too. Last year your boy, now in P'town, really turned my head. I am jacked to see who'll stand out this weekend. I love "scouting" the talent. (Page turn edit: #1 U MN Duluth at #2 U Denver this weekend.)
The Univ. of Denver has all kinds of national championships. They're routinely awarded the trophy for the best non-football division sports college in the country. They are currently ranked #1 in the nation in both hockey and in lacrosse. That's impressive! The puck drops shortly at Magness Arena: DU Pioneers vs. the St. Cloud State Huskies. The Sabres have a couple of prospects: Will Borgen, D (he's a guudun of '16 WJC acclaim), and Judd Peterson. Tomorrow night the big boys are in the Can.
It was a great game last night. The hometown Pioneers won in OT. DU was clearly the better* team but St. Cloud State did not appear intimidated by the #1 ranked team or the raucous crowd. Judd Peterson (BUF, 7/204 2012) scored the equalizer with less than 3 min. to go. Florida prospect Henrik Borgstrom (#23 2016) delighted the locals into the crisp night about halfway through the extra stanza. I doubt Judd will have much of an NHL career, but he has size and grit. He may earn a cup of coffee and make a decent living in places like Elmira before he figures out what he wants to do with life. Will Borgen was a draft steal at 4/ 92 in 2015. He was the most accomplished blueliner on the ice and without him DU may have taken the Huskies with ease. He'll be in the NHL, hopefully in Buffalo around 2019 or 2020. * The Huskies came into the game ranked #15 in the nation. Their record may not look that impressive, but watch out for them: on the 26 man roster, 9 are frosh, and another 9 are sophs; a young team that may enjoy NCAA glory soon.
This made me chuckle. Some guys never figure it out what they want to do in life and land up signing a contract in Detroit.
