That was BU goalie Matt O'Connor in last season's National Championship game. That beauty of a goal tied it up midway through the 3rd. Not surprisingly Providence scored again less than 2 mins later and won the game 4-3. I can't let anyone forget about how BU lost that game. Everything you hate about Boston fans is what BU hockey is all about. that Michigan punter was amazing. even after he mishandled the snap he really doubled down and screwed him self by trying to get it off. just go down w/ the ball kid.
bc's Jeremy bracco is quitting the team after 5 games and signing with kitchener of the ohl. the leafs second round pick in this year's draft had 3 assists so far. i love his grit.
Gave you a thank you for this one, Matty. Notice the score scroll at that moment; ah, the lead did not hold.
My immediate reaction was: wow, Bracco fell to the second?! That was a deep draft class, and TOR had a great day in June. Seems a little odd to jump to where he'll be committed until he's 20. But, perhaps he thinks he'll jump to the NHL next year. Could happen.
Qunneville, Sonny Milano, now Bracco. What's the deal with these guys? Commitment issues Miss mom Hate studying ?
this Bracco decision is not dissimilar to Kenny Ryan leaving a few years back, also a Leafs 2nd round pick. a bad decision then, bad decision now. yes you could file this under butthurt for me but i called this over a year ago.
mebbe mom was living to close by in freeport, ny. although i consider breaking a commitment a check on character.
All summer there was speculation that he was bolting BC, then he goes out of his way to tell everybody that all that stuff was garbage and false. Good luck with that guy Toronto.
went to the BC/DU game last night and what a beauty it was. fast back and forth hockey all night long. good guys came out on top on a last minute Matty-hockey Gaudreau garbage goal. the thing that made me smile the most was Bruins property, DU soph F- Danton Heinen. This kid is really good. The only freshmen to outscore him last year were Eichel and Larkin. He had 2 and 1 last night and was pretty close to unstoppable when he got an inch of open ice. Heinon might be my favorite Bruins prospect. On the Jeremy Bracco front, sucks to lose him but there were more than a couple of issues behind the scenes w/ the young man. i'll say this about him and i think its the most telling thing that you can say about any hockey player, his teammates weren't upset that he left.
