Paesanos looks like it has the most interesting menu of all of them. There's a few places here that close at 2pm and re-open at 5, it's just not worth staying open. This usually happens when in a office building environment.

 

I have the day off, just chilling and straightening out some orange polacks.

 

Three weeks ago the doctor said I needed surgery, today, I'm healed. Sometimes, you just have to be your own doctor.

yeah like when the tiny bone called a scapphoid under my thumb didn't heal. this nut job wanted to put a iron plate on top of my wrist to heal it. i would've missed 2 months of work and who knows what the cost was.

the bone healed on it's own and it cost me $6 by buying a wrist brace at the local Pharmacy. can you imagine? he wanted to cut my wrist open and put a metal plate in there? thief.

 

apparently burritos are big around the burbs of chicago. being from philly it was not. so i went to college in the west burbs of chicago and there was an incredible burrito place by campus. it was open till 2 am sunday to thursday and till 5 am for the drunnks friday and saturday. it reopened at 7. their menu was painted on a wall in the store. it had so many offerings for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

i only had 2 things there - the steak burrito or chorizo burrito. they made it right in front of you. all meat was grilled in front of you. it was almost 8 inches long and unlike chipotle or q-doba their only ingredients were meat, shredded tomato, lettuce and cheese. with sour cream added. it went blend or congeal together and it was fantastic. the price $3.05. i went back for a wedding in 2000 and it was raised a nickel. i heard now they have a liquor license and it's $5 ! well worth it. i would put it up against the best philly cheese steak any day! it was that good.

 

Paesanos is italian, we have burrito boyz and fat bastards, not really into burritos, I like the quesadillas.

 

I ended up seeing six different doctors, they all had different opinions, the only one that was right was Dr.Skinny. This one doc wanted me on anti-biotics for 3 weeks, I stopped after 2.

 

Dr. Skinny, paging Dr. Skinny ? lol

 

All I could say is that I'm lucky I went to a different doctor back in march for my yearly physical. After seeing the same doctor for 30 years, not once did he mention having to get a tetanus shot every 10 years. This nice russian lady doctor suggested it, so I am lucky.

 

Russian? Can you trust her ? I haven't got a tetanus shot in a long time. Yikes.

Temps reached 103 this weekend! Ugh. Come on fall !

 

She can't be worse than the other doctors. Yes, a tetanus shot could save your life when having an open wound.

Story of the summer so far, cloudy, or rain and cloudy. Hoping for a better August.

I'm not into burritos either.We have those paces and a new place that just opened called Cahones Buritos. I just get their Chicken Shwarma burrito as it tastes better than most shwarmas in town.

A chicken shawarma burrito, sounds like a mexican/lebanese fusion.

Shawarma is a middle east wrap, usually has chicken or beef inside.
