nice skinny. glad it was worth going.

speaking of going - i went to physical therapy for my back and told the Doctor this was my last visit bc the co-pays were too expensive and she was pissed! she wanted to see me another 12 times over the next 6 weeks. that's $480 dollars plus the $120 i already spent on visits! i feel better and just need rest. she said my pelvis won't fix itself on rest. all she did was give my back heat for 15 min. lay on a bed with rollers for 15 min with ice and she put this device on my back for 5 min and yanked on my legs to see if the pelvis was back where it should be. i was done in 30 min so $40 per visit is a bit high. my brother doesn't believe my pelvis is rotated at all. just some bs chiropractor crap to get me to keep coming back. 12 more visits-jeez. she better be blowing me for that kind of money!

    These people are doctors/salespeople.

That place is actually not that far from where I live, they told me to come back during the day and try a sandwich. The parking is not good at all, it's about a 30 min walk from where I live, I'll end up going for lunch soon.

^^ nice. i thought DDD had 2 things there? i forget but what Guy Fieri ate looked awesome. the place was a old soda fountain shop wasn't it turned into a restaurant. it looked really old, but cool.

It may look old school, but it's run in a very high end manner. They bring a wine bottle to your table filled with water. The wait staff has a high end dress code. The presentation was high end, stainless steel cups of butter, syrup and blackberries. The pancakes had a white powdered sugar as well.

^^^^ sounds delightful. it didn't seem that fancy on DDD. They show the rerun of it all the time. i will watch more closely next time.

The real old school diners had those self-taught cooks, usually a family run place. This place has chefs that went to school and are specially trained , the same kind that you would see in Vegas.
The diner itself is more of a theme, you couldn't renovate a place to look like that.

i recall that original counter they kept was from the 40's or something and they kept the cigarette rack too for show. very cool.

I'm drinking a draft from quebec called, "Le trou du diable La Buteuse." It's 10% ABV, wicked. I think it translates to the true devil lol.

skinny-who the hell gave you a 0 rating for that post? hmm.

i wonder just how much Guy Fieri really likes their food vs tasting something and then not liking it but can't film that part?? that would be funny as hell to see him eat something and spit it out and say "that's awful!" haha

i like the show a lot. i watch it every friday.

Guy Fieri might be the biggest jabroni going these days. He's in the conversation with Pitbull anyway.
