the rain has moved out and it's going to be a nice weekend. i'll be spending my weekend job searching sadly. the company did a restructure 3 months ago and it backfired and now people are in panic mode of the company firing tons of people. no proof of this - just a perception that the 8 VPs at the top who make all the rules have no clue what they are doing and are going to make huge cuts eventually. to me there are more issues than those 8 people at the top. either way, i gotta jump ahead of the curve. ugh. i hate job searching!

they look great, but i can't afford $35k. hell im looking for a new job now based on a news article i read last week that directly affects our company and our biggest source of revenue. i spent hours yesterday looking and it was painful and a total bust. im finding ways to save money not spend more.

 

I heard that 120 jobs a day have been outsourced since Trump took office. GDP growth is projected to be .07%, anything under 0.5% is considered a recession. 300k less tourists projected in NYC alone this year.

 

i don't care about tourists! i care about me. i am happy at my work so to look for a job now huffs ass. we are not closing tomorrow, but our senior management group is a total mess and they gave out a big promotion when it wasn't deserved which pissed people off and started a new dept which pissed people off. me and many others are not happy about the direction they have taken the past 5 months and after reading the article-our biggest source or revenue could go the way of the dodo and now we're all scared that the end is near. maybe not in a year or so but near enough ! so i care little about people who can go on vacation to NYC while i have to work !

 

ugh-half the company was at meetings in Rome all this week and last week. so nice and quiet. now everyone is back. noisy as shit in here. time for headphones and music.

Well Q4 was 2.1% and Q1 '17 was .07%, I wouldn't say there's a recession but a far cry from the 4% growth Trump promised. All the great recessions in history have had 0.5% gtowth and below zero, too close for comfort.

 

i got my own shit i gotta worry about than trump and the country sadly! sorry but i gotta take care of myself and Tux and Oscar first than worry about what Trump is up too ! I do think Steven Colbert should be fired for his constant barrage of insults of Trump since bf the election to now. Never have i seen a talk-show personality attack the President or would-be President elect like Colbert has every damn broadcast and he gets away with it.
