Great question Fish. I always wondered that myself! The one thing is, nothing grows. But they will be over every week to cut your grass and are done in 10 minutes because it's the same height as it was last week.......

 

my buddy owned a huge landscaping company in the 90's. he was booked all summer and went as far as Easton, Pa to cut company properties. He sold it all to make get this putting greens in rich people's back yards. How the hell do you sell a profitable business for something only the rich can afford?

Anyways-i am always baffled to why landscapers cut lawns after it rains. the wet trimmings gunk up the mowers like crazy. i lived in South Philly for 10 yrs and had to walk across Marconi Park to go to work via the Subway. They would always cut the park's grass after it rains. The mowers were fast but after a while, the trimmings will add up and slow you down. I guess they don't care as it's not their mowers.

 

The only time I would do landscaping is if it was in a porno.
