I've had this aggravating tennis elbow since june, it was so bad at one point that brushing my teeth alone was a task. Anyways, through months of anti-inflamatory gels, a counter brace elbow strap, heat pad, one session of physiotherapy where they instructed me on stretches and excercises, I see a little light at the end of the tunnel. I was reading up on accupuncture, and being that I live ten minutes from chinatown, I decided to give it a try. I walk in and notice everybody whispering, so I take that cue and follow protocol. The price they call a sliding scale, you could pay anywhere from $25-$40, put it in an envelope and drop it in the box at the front. They sit you in a comfortable recliner and practitioner who was a hot asian girl, started poking my elbow and forearm. She put one in my head for good measure, she said it would help me relax lol. A day later, it feels a bit better, I have to go another three times, just want this pain to finally go away.

tennis elbow is caused by repetitive motion. if you are not playing tennis, i believe it is wanker's disease.

This is interesting, obama kicked out the most illegal latinos of any president since 1890.

im not an obama guy. to me he's like a car salesman. all smiles and says the right thing, but he knows he's selling you a lemon as he shakes your hand and takes your money. he's a Socialist and i don't think his rising spending costs were best for America. He spent more than all Presidents combined in his first term of office. That's a frightening stat.

I think Trump ran bc if he didn't HRC would win in a walk. I don't think he thought he would win. Just hope he works out.

i don't wanna go political on here as we have 3 political threads. just saying my 2 cents.

for us Americans - Thanksgiving this week. I will be headed to my sister's in lovely Lancaster, Pa. The 1 thing I miss as a kid was our entire house smelling like food all days as a 22 pound turkey was in the oven early and my Mom started early on all the sides etc. After having 8 kids, she was a real trooper in the kitchen. I miss that. My folks died when I was 15 and 21, so I never had the "family" Thanksgiving after 1987. My sister does a nice job with it, but it's not the same. I do miss that about my childhood.

I hope everyone here has a safe, festive and yummy Thanksgiving! Be safe on the roads and enjoy the holiday with your families.

Just went for another session today, have to go twice a week for a month. I truly feel bad for people with permanent disabilites, my pain will soon go away and I'll be back to normal. There are those like my cousin that has to be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life because of her multiple sclorisis, we realize how lucky we are when we finally do get better.

Obama's far from perfect, as any president, there's always the good and bad. I think if we expect our leaders to really change things so much to the point where we're living in a paradise, we're being naive. Most of the change we have to do ourselves, get educated, get skilled, make ourselves employable. An unemployment rate of 4.9% means that 95.1% of people that can and are able to work are working. So what are we getting all hyped up about for these 4.9% that can't find work. I tell you, most and not all of these people are lazy and inambitious. These are the type that stay in that small town that's been gutted and don't go where the work is, like most americans. These people dream that one day a car plant will open up just down the street from them so they could get some cozy union job where their lazy ass is protected and they get all their benefits, that's what make america great again is about. It's about not having to compete with that immigrant that has ten times more ambition and will outwork you, and do a better job than you, because they come from a brutal place and found america. Make america great again, is for the lazy, uneducated, and inambitious.

yeah a few years ago, i was dating a girl with MS. it ended but we remained friends. she texted me for my Birthday last week. I asked her how she was doing...she's 42, had to go on permanent disability, no longer can work, can barely walk, can bathe 3 times a week with help, and is sore every hour of every day. not to be cold hearted, but i knew this would happened and 1 reason why i broke up with her as i knew she would progress into this painful state. after watching my Mother die in a hospital, i just couldn't bring myself to watch this again and be there for her. so yes skinny, i feel for anyone like this. Any illness sucks and is sad and so painful to go through.

there's a young kid who works at Wawa - think of a better 7-11. He is disable. Some kind of Cerebral palsy. He's the head cashier for the morning shift and let me tell you - this Wawa is packed as they are building a new center for more shopping across the street so ALL the construction guys are in there for breakfast and lunch for coffee, breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches. this kid is the head cashier for all of it. he is faster than people without a disability. he handles the register faster than i could and when they need cigarettes, he can grab them with his disabled arm without fail and never makes a mistake.

he's not asking for a handout. he's not asking for help. the kid works M-F 8-5! he's a perfect case to all the people who really WANNA WORK out there! Not those lazy, shiftless motherfuckers looking to suck off the government tit and get their free food stamps and welfare checks! i always thank him as he works so hard through his disability to make the line move faster!
