hbob-although you proved in other posts they should know right from wrong on this issue about the money as a bonus versus an overpayment - i really think something went wrong and many of these vets just didnt know what was going on. i don't think they knowingly took it and spent it, to fuck over the government.

although is is a different type of case, i was down to my last 6 months of my student loan in college. paid it off for 9 yrs and 6 months with 6 months to go. in that 7th month the notices to my apt stopping coming. same for the 8th, 9th, 10th month etc. this was pre-internet, so i didn't know what to do, but i knew i owed them that money. on the 13th month i got sued for failure to pay back my student loan. they claimed i moved and couldn't find me. i never moved and stayed in the same spot for 10 yrs. it got settled, but it took 2 yrs and i owed penalties and shit for something i didn't do, but knew was wrong. i had no contact info either as the loan company changed companies several times over those 10 yrs. ??

I do think there were a number of them that were duped, frauded (somebody actually went to jail over frauding docs), or confused. Bonus money is real easy to figure out. If you aren't in classified as XXX (specialty), you don't qualify for the bonus. It's pretty simple, even before everyone had their internet on their phone.

They're lumping everything into "bonus" repayment, and that's not accurate. The bulk of the victims (my opinion based on limited info) of bonus mistakes were probably few and far between but I'm guessing the number of victims of other accounting mistakes and fraud in other programs (like loan repayment) was legitimate.

A trump rally yesterday in carolina there was a black supporter that was calling trump to give him a letter of support. All the rednecks in the crowd were having none of it. They all mistakened him for a protestor, of course there's no room for visible minorities at a racist trump rally. He ends up shouting at him like a bafoon" did they pay you $1500 to come here" then he orders his security to kick him out. As he's being led out, they find out that he supports him, and they still kick him out. They could've used that chance to have him give the letter to him. Surprisingly he'll still vote for trump, only because he hates hillary that much.

 

my sister is seeing trump tomorrow by King of Prussia, outside of Philly tomorrow. Only 500 woman are meeting him and it was by special invitation, so she is meeting him. pretty cool.
