oh that is. in my stupid youth, me and my friends were in the basement of a buddy of ours. his older brother was an obnoxious ass. he comes downstairs and starts yelling "all i hear is how big of a drinker you are, and bog college guy and how you can drink any amount etc." i said "yeah, i can." he said "i bet you a case of beer you can't drink 7 beers in 14 min." now that amount in insane and it was a dick move of him to say that many beers in such a short time knowing i would lose.

i said " i'll do it on 1 condition." he said "name it." i need a big plastic cup and the pour of the first beer doesn't count towards the 14 min." he said "your on."

so 7 cans were opened and set up in front of me. the first one was poured into the cup and i started. my buddies were cheering me on. the cup was a 32 ounce old 7-11 Cup for a Slurpee or something. Within 1 min in, i had 2 beers down. then did a beer every 2 minutes and change. now i had 45 seconds left and on my last beer. i finished it with 30 sec left. in defeat he was all mad.

i then said "double or nothing, give me 1 more minute for 1 more beer." he said "done. my friends were screaming at me to not do it! i did it. 8 beers in 15 min. in defeat he walked back upstairs really pissed off.

i sat on the couch and people were asking me if i was ok. i replied "don't touch me and just give me some time." i felt paralyzed.

after 10 min, i went back to the party. i could've easily have died as that amount would kill a lot of people. the smart move would've been to make myself puke as it would've been all beer anyways, but i didn't.

months later we were at our local bar and i see him. he still didn't pay yet. after 30 min i yell across the bar "hey John, are you ever going to pay your debt off!" the whole bar was like "oooh!" he was so mad. next door was a beer distributor and he said "lets go and get this over with!" he got 2 30 packs of miller lite and put them in my car!

    the rest is history!

to this day, that amount and time is a record i never seen even close to attempted or beaten!

    dumb college youth!

Interesting stuff I was reading on trumps financial pipeline connected to moscow. Trump won't release his returns because it will show he's actually in debt. He has so much money tied to russian investors that are close personal friends of putin it's not funny. If they pulled the carpet on him he would lose it all and putin will control him and america if trump gets elected, the puppet master.

Don't want to come off sounding over the top, he will control US foreign policy with issues relating to NATO and anything to do with russia. Putin will take back all baltic states pre 1991 and bring it back to the soviet era and maybe go for more (ukraine, poland, maybe czech?).

As they say in Ireland, the message above is o.t.t., if you wanted to come across that way or not. There is simply zero credible evidence that Putin has Trump in his back pocket. There is no evidence that Trump is financially beholden to the Russians. There is zero chance that a Soviet-era sphere of influence returns to the Baltic States and beyond. The only way that would happen would be war, and such a war would pit the USA against Russia.

It could happen, but Trump would not acquiesce to Russia's re-revolution. He would be Putin's adversary.

The trouble is that a perspective Trump Presidency gives us much to be legitimately concerned about*. Outlandish claims such as these desensitize us to the legitimate concerns. In other words, we become more vulnerable when such hyperbole is left unchallenged. (* It should be noted that Trump does not hold a monopoly on troublesome concerns; HC is at least his equal on this front.)

Trump has already stated his stance on pulling american troops out of most of the world. He's wants less to do with nato more than any other past ptesident, he's done nothing but praise putin and wants nothing to do with the ukraine. He will not counter him if he decides to move into the baltics. Nobody has done anything when he went into the ukraine including the US. There is plenty of evidence of very wealthy russian investors in many of his ventures mainly the hotels. These investors have very strong ties to putin including gazprom.

    Do these check off?

    Has trump been bankrupt?

Did american institutions give him problems with raising capital after his bankrupcy?

Did he begin raising capital from wealthy russian oligarchs?

Do these oligarchs have strong ties to putin?

Has trump been known to do business with organized crime figures?

Would he put his business interests before american interests if he were to become president?

Bottom line, trump is a dirtbag and anything is possible, I have checked off most of these as they are the truth.

Asking questions comes nowhere close to establishing a truth.

You have asked a bunch of questions. If you wish to employ the Socratic method, complete your task.

BTW, I have known since the 1980's - on my own account - that Trump is a scumbag. You will not hear me proclaiming anything less.

I'll do the research and give you proof, even quotes from his son relating to their investments in russia.

Investments in Russia will not establish anything nefarious. It would only corroborate what we already know of - and about - Trump.

This approach of "connect the dots, and draw conclusions" is dangerous. If applied to Trump's presumptive opponent then it would be much more damning. More damning because the evidence is more certain.

It's analogous to me debating who I'd rather see win (or lose), the hockey team from Philadelphia or the hockey team from Boston. It's unsavory no matter how we nuance particular points. And, in the end I'll have agita.

i dont have an answers for any real life questions but for the latest one, it's the hockey team from Boston.

Between you and me, Matty, I agree. (Of course I guess that's now between us anyone reading this.) It really helps me like 'em more now that Sweeney looks like a drunken train engineer.

I will hold onto tradition, however, when referencing either team.

as a NE division foe thats completely understandable.
Chayka proactively addressing their D makes me hate Sweeney even more.

I'm so disgusted that HC has been hammered for the email thing. Her donations from insurance companies are far more dangerous to national security than any of this crap about Benghazi or the email conspiracy. Sick of the gas thrown on those fires, so much wasted energy when there are so many more REAL concerns about HC out there.

On the email mess, it was a mistake that shouldn't have been made but one that's been made hundreds of thousands of times because of the asinine way our government applies administrative classification protocol. She was hammered for being a dumbass as she should have been. Trump was hammered for letting his wife plagarize. Both were dumbass mistakes but neither should influence a vote.

A template of cup label idea, say for a diplomatic lunch, gets the same security treatment on paper as the Jason Bourne files, but one can never deduce that by the media coverage. There are literally millions of blank pages with extremely high security classification on them because they're attached to a document. I'll bet my left nut that the emails of concern more closely resembled a lunch seating chart more than anything concerning foreign policy doctrine or info about a secret program that could cost US dollars or lives if leaked to the bad guys or international rivals.

    Completely agree

    Which evidence about which event?

My concerns about Trump can't be quantified. At the end of the day 2 things are scary, Obama in 08' (who I considered dangerous because he was a rookie) was infinitely more experienced in terms of navigating in DC than Trump. Secondly, Trump hasn't accomplished, or even really done anything, that he couldn't walk away from.
