We get the benefit of usually being broke as we learn how to manage financial decisions. It's kind of a bum deal for them. A pro athlete 22 year old gets to spend for years without thinking about short or long term consequences like most average fans do. A regular 22 year old out of college (or still in parents' basements) gets hung up on decisions involving a few $20s, many of these elite players in big pro sports can blow 20K at a strip club without feeling it or thinking about it and learning.

    20K - cool, $20-100 mil - not cool.

Does Elanor come with inflated lips?

80% of nfl players are broke, divorced or dead by 55. The few lucky ones get taken care of by the brotherhood like marino, sanders or montana up in the booth.

Actually 80% are divorced within 5 years of retiring, the goldigger moves on.

At the 5 minute mark, he mentions 60 states, what?

I'm not advocating ticket scalping and to each their own. With sites like stubhub you could make some money, even if it's a small amount. You work from your computer without really doing anything more than clicking the mouse. You have to scope out a major event well in advance to get the best seats for the best possible price. It could be an event in any city, buy the pdf file, wait until a date closer to the event and then you post your own listing with a mark up that you set. It's real easy and all you need is to set up a paypal account, if you're good at picking the event, the worse you could do is break even.
