it's like in the Bugs Bunny cartoon where Yosesite Sam is a gladiator and trying to cross a hungry pit of lions to get to Bugs and uses stilts. Bugs throws the lions saws and axes and says "here you go lions." haha. classic.

 

A toronto area firefighter goes on a skiing trip with his family to Lake Placid. He goes off a slope and goes missing. They send out search parties to find him, even his firefighter friends come down to help.

Six days later he turns up in Sacremento, California. He has no idea how he got there and is very confused.

More details to follow.....keep in mind, he's a greek.

 

As of this morning there was a search party of 140 people, police with helicopters. He went missing on feb.7th, he was a fire captain.
He called his wife today from sacramento all confused. His wife told him to call 911, the police picked him up.
He was still wearing his ski suit with the helmet and goggles. The police took his passport and saw that he didn't use it to fly.
His car was still parked at the ski resort.

^^he was probably a little hot in that outfit. was he kidnapped for ransom ? that's a 3-4 day drive at least. and he was all confused but remembered his wife's telephone # ?

 

He's in a hospital in california being assessed right now.

Maybe hit his head, wandered around, a rig picked him up and brought him to california.

 

that's one long ass ride.

 

4 days.

100 toronto firefighters went down there to search for him.

 

I hear ya skinny. something is fishy in this story. again, he was confused but remembered his wife's phone # ? he never changed his clothes in 4 days ? no one else is coming forward with giving a man a ride in a ski outfit for 4 days? something is up...

 

I got a wife and kid in baltimore jack, I went for a ride and never came back.

Well, I regretted it and faked dementia.

Yeah, he doesn't want to remember.

 

I get he may have been injured at the ski resort. he walks woozily off the course and no one sees his accident or see a man wandering in full ski gear off course? then no one sees him in the parking lot? then no one sees him get in a truck? the truck driver doesn't ask questions and his family at the ski resort and drives him almost the entire to California? I am not a Harvard Graduate, but this is the fishiest story I've heard in years. Many things don't add up here.

 

I went to visit my uncles gravesite yesterday, now I know exactly where it is. He died in 1977. I didn't go to the funeral and my dad hardly ever brought up his name. I saw it in 1998 when his wife (my aunt) passed and she was buried there as well.

Now behind my uncles gravestone was my dads other brother, who died when I was 3 years old of cancer. My dad never talked about him, never seen his tombstone in my life and have no memory of him. I approach the tombstone for the first time ever. I see that he died when he was exactly the same age as I am right now. Weird shit man.

 

that is weird. sad that your Dad lost his brothers and they died young.
