^^the packers game was a blowout. it rained mid-way through, so we were soaked. i wanted to leave. 2 of my buddies wanted to keep drinking. we had a cooler in the car. could've drank on the way home and left an hour earlier. traffic out of GB was insane because it's a neighborhood !

It's a miracle they have an nfl team.

yeah and now a old neighbor of mine, who lives in wisconsin now, is all pissy bc i said lambeau doesn't have real seats and have benches instead. she starts blasting me on facebook about it and the history etc. i don't give 2 shits about history and the nfl. this is 2017, not 1967 - get rid of the benches and get some damn seats in there!

that's what shocked me so much? imagine that thing in winter? your ass is feeling it for 3+ hrs. screw that. it's cold enough in GB as it is let alone your ass stuck to a aluminum bench. no thanks. it was a 1 time visit. i golfed, i went and saw lambeau and now im good.

I just ran into these two black guys waiting for the bus that are originally from Halifax. They speak with an american accent over there, I had no idea.

Anyways, there's a new texas bbq chicken and rib smokehouse opening up right in front of that bus stop. There's two partners, one guys from buffalo and the other guy (who is the cook) is from dallas. The cook looks like he could've played in the nfl at one time, maybe a defensive end.

We were talking about the previous owners that were jamaican with the two from halifax at the bus stop, the one guy says, "not to be racist, jamaicans are lazy", lol.

The opening is in Nov, I have a sunday booked, 20 yrs experience he has in dallas, he puts the sauce on the side and you choose how much you want on the meat, can't wait.

Yeah, the cook from dallas gave me his opinion on the gun situation in the US, that's for another thread.

it was really good for eastern, pa. im sure kc, st. louis, nc and texas are insanely over the top better. it was still good and tons of food for the prices. a platter with 2 sides is the way to go ! great food. had to take some home as i couldn't finish it all. A++

hmm bbq ! there's actually a famous chain near me that i never go too. i heard it's good but something about a chain bbq place seems to make me think it's not that good and it's all in the name! give me a dirty hole in the wall that serves killer bbq over some fancy chain restaurant that overcharges on food and food sizes because of it's famous and fancy name.
