The orange to this day still have a bit of influence in the corporate world in canada. I've heard from some that were working 20 years at a company and never received a signifigant promotion and then an orange kid will get that position after 3 years. They'll give away one important position to a visible minority just to cover their ass and keep the affirmitive action special interest groups happy. Only way out for some was to open up their own small business and some of these guys today are the richest in the country. But the orange will tell you that they were corrupt.

this media Rio Olympic coverage is brutal. So Missy Franklin didn't qualify for a swimming final. NBC was basically saying at 21 she's done. And yet they said 19 yr old Katie Ledecky could swim till she's 31? like the same thing that happened to Franklin couldn't happen to Ledecky? Swimming unless you're Michael Phelps is for the young and younger. Franklin had a bad back in 2014 and it looks like it made her slower. hope she can come back but at 21 i doubt she's done. she has 4 yrs to get better for the Tokyo games.

 

I was told yesterday by a female that women were the boss of everything. Interesting perspective, I guess you live in the world you create. had 2 females bosses in my life. 1 favored other woman over men and did everything management told her to do for 25 yrs. unreal she was a boss.

the other was a racist who favored the 3 other African-Americans in our dept over me. she would not give me the standard 2% company raise for 3 yrs bc in her own words "You make more money than Mike and Cynthia, so I am not giving you a raise, so they can catch up to you in salary." "oh and if I was here when you were hired, I would have never started you at the rate you made." "Mike and Cynthia started at a lower rate, so they need to catch up. " "You shouldn't make more than them!"

wtf is that? how is anything about Mike and Cynthia's pay relevant to my yearly performance review based on performance only? who cares what i make compared to them? i was hired to begin a new process and department after an failed company audit. i transcended the program in 6 months to be one of the best in the country. Mike and Cynthia were brought on as staff to my dept already. they didn't do anything except to follow the process i created.

i should've went to HR about her and this but the company seemed to favor woman all the time in HR cases.

she ruined my life for 5 yrs and the happiest day of my life was when i got the job i have now for $17,000 more a year, free benefits and no more city wage taxes per paycheck at $91.50.

oh and i have my college degree and Mike and Cynthia didn't! Talk about racism and complete and total ignorance-that bitch takes the cake!

I have tendinitis in my elbow so the pharmacist recommends voltaren gel. Thank God for the Internet, I had 2 light beers last night at a jazz bar and felt unusual pain immediately and found it strange. A quick search reveals that too much alcohol mixed with this product can cause internal bleeding, wow, all from a sore elbow.

They want me to do a commercial for voltaren. You see me being wheeled into an ambulance at 3 am with liver failure. I have this big smile on my face and I say "my liver might not be worth much right about now, but thanks to voltaren my elbow pain has disappeared.

sad all over. im thankful i live in a good area where crime is low etc. i don't think i could live in an area like that. i know thousands do it, but i couldn't. when i see movies filmed in the US and the areas in the South or out in California and the shitty houses and areas are scary. no thanks.
