Here's a guy you may or not be familiar with Bruce Cockburn was born in Ontario. This is old but I've always appreciated his swirling guitar style. He was partly the reason back when I was a kid after I listened to his song Rocket Launcher that I wanted to become a studio engineer so I bought instead studio equipment to make my own studio and find that unique sound that every musician searches for. With headphones on the swirling style of his finger picking is fucking outstanding. My idea was to isolate certain frequencies one by one and pan them off side to side so they appear to be rotating within your head. I just never achieved the desired result, but I digress here's rocket launcher I love this song
I'm just on my way to go teach a class so I don't have time to reply tuna but I love Bruce cockburn and I always have. I'll look at this again tomorrow!
I've listened to Cockburn for years, saw him live a few times too. The guy is humble and really interesting. His style of guitar-playing really influenced my older brother when he was young and he went on to play in a band for most of his life too.
Here's kind of a recent song off their newest album, it's of a band I posted a while back from New Orleans, The Revivalists. It brings some different musical elements. I really dig this one.
Here's one from a couple years back by the Black Keys with kind of a retro 70's vibe almost Floydish I really love this song too. It has the Lyrics in English and Spanish so you and your 12 kids can follow along.
Really nice tuna ... I really hear the Floydesque sound in them. I have 13 kids. Please send food, another computer and a nanny.
Oh, so you popped another one out of the oven did ya? You need to learn which ones to use and which ones to avoid. Sending Mrs. tunafire over to help you out with that with a case of ramen noodles.
Here's one for you baby it's of a band a posted a while ago with the SOB song. Here's hoping the Bears leave it all out there tomorrow later today
What a crazy name for a band ... that makes me laugh Really GOOD sound, I like this a lot tuna, thank you!!
Here's one for you just known simply as Orianthi, an Aussie Played with Michael Jackson, Richie Sambora and Alice Cooper.
This one is not music related but there is a Bears reference at 1:17 and imagine this would be BWW and Mongo traveling together to the Superbowl.
The entire movie is great if you haven't seen it, it's a must see. It has been a Thanksgiving tradition to watch that movie in this house every year.
