Steve Earle's kid. He's had a lot of issues with drugs in his life but the music he creates is pretty damn good. I used to watch him live at some bars in Chicago.
Holy. I'm a big fan of Steve Earle. I would never have thought this was his kid. He's really good. I want to listen to a bunch more music, the stuff you post is either familiar to me or completely unfamiliar and I love listening to music that is new to me but ... The wind is howling outside and the snow is coming down like a thick blanket and I have to go get lost in the wilderness. I know you don't like Sting but I just found this and I think it's pretty good. Robert Downey Jr. Who knew ...

I like those guys tuna. Good mix of blues and garage band sound. Definitely pick up some punk influences in their music. Really good.
tuna, My friends and I used to camp out at the ampitheatre too all the time to get tickets. Once to get tickets for Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Axe we were sitting in line eating and drinking (about 11-12 o'clock at nite) and at the front of the line a fight broke out. As what appeared to be the loser of that fight limped away down the street, I thought to myself "this is not gonna turn out good tonite". About 30-40 min later about 12-15 guys came back and one hellacious fight broke out right in front of us in the middle of the street. What seemed like a very long time, was only about a few minutes as people that were standing in line started to scatter in fear, we managed to hold our ground and actually ended up from about 50th or so in line, to about 18-20th. Ended up with 7th row seats.....!
I do like Frampton comes alive album, but that's it. It didn't hurt Humble Pie either when Frampton left and went solo. One of my favorite albums is Humble Pie "Smokin", ironically, the first Humble Pie album AFTER Frampton left... Wife and I rode to the Harley 100th anniversary. When the concerts started that evening, my wife wanted to see Joan Jett, and I wanted to see Frampton. Guess who won? Well we saw Frampton, and it sucked! Everyone wanted to hear the old stuff, but all he played was new stuff. Wish we would have seen Joan Jett! http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6CC9FD00F9995BC3
I gave her my best sales pitch about being at the 100 yr ann. and what better place for Frampton to recreate Frampton comes alive.....boy was I wrong!
Frampton sucks. Sucks more than Journey. And Journey sucks hard. Sucks more than Styx and Styx sucked at an epic level. We are talking like Nickleback...Coldplay.....Boston level of suckiness.
Going back to my teenage days, I will admit that I listened to more Journey than Frampton.......for obvious reasons
This doesn't help things. I used to have a rule that said I had to try to pick fights with guys wearing Journey t-shirts.
Gotta have standards in life. Guys in members only jackets were at the front of the I wanna punch you in the face line though.
