great guess but no. Chris Penn was getting out of Pa, but his pregnant gf ended that dream for him and he was staying. Probably ended up in a grocery store or gas station! and Hooper was really a tribute to all the stuntmen and stunt-women in the movie business who back then got no recognition for their work.
