i saw that one and the movie. former skating star stacy peralta hand a hand in both. heath ledger is in it and emile hirsch.
im still amazed when you see that doc and the film and the birth of skate boarding to the tricks of today is unreal. even in the movie the tricks are very low key compared to even today's basic tricks, which is insane compared to how it started. the 1 set of judges didn't even think the Z boys were that great as they used their hands for certain moves. whomever thought of flipping a skateboard with your feet 1-2 complete rotations and then landing on it is a genius. and the famed Tony Hawk finally completing a 980 at a competition may be the one of the greatest things i ever saw.
