no one saw this or cared -- the answer - an upside down bucket of KFC! hahaha

  2. lol sorry, cat - but (are u sitting down?) - i've never seen any of the rocky movies.

its ok lulz. if he was some bum from LA or Dallas i would pass on them too. living in philly brings it home more.

to each their own pal. the old catfish would bash you but after some posts on here about my postings and such, it's all good pal. you still have a wealth of movie knowledge and after rocky 1 and parts of 3 they go way down hill.

    *DRINK*

yikes. well the access to the lake is from a Dam controlled by PPL so i doubt they're getting in. but thanks for the note. the only water i go in is a shower or a pool!

ok im never leaving the freaking house then! speaking of jaws-just got an early edition of the book in hardback from 1974. i have a big bookcase i wanna fill so i bought the book for $9!

Jaws in many peoples opinions is one of the few times the Book is not as good as the movie. I would have jumped on a $9 hardcover from 74 regardless of that opinion though.

got benchley's other novel hardback too for $10 - the deep. good movie with robert shaw, eli wallach, nick nolte, Jacqueline bassett and Louis gossett jr.

  10. ok, stumbled across this in the comments on an interview clip on youtube.

how many of the magnificent seven are still alive?

  11. Catfish Guest

hmm...just robert vaughn i think as eli wallach died last year or so...

  12. Jeanquev Legend Steelers

Im going to guess 1 but have no clue which one lol I know 3 (Bronson, Brenner, and McQueen) are dead for sure.

  13. catfish is correct. napoleon solo is the only one left.

  14. but a ps to cat: eli wallach's death doesn't enter into it, tho, as he was not one of the 7. he was the head bandit.

  15. Catfish Guest

ah ok. only saw it once. i only recall he was covered in dirt the whole time. haha.

  16. ok, here's something i just learned. i mentioned Nevada Smith in another thread. it turns out that was the inspiration for the name indiana jones, who was actually even indiana smith originally.

Anybody see "Kill The Messenger" yet? Premiered on HBO last night. Based on true events that you wouldn't believe about the CIA and a reporter.....In the end the reporters death is ruled a suicide with 2 shots to the head? How did he miss the 1st time? And the whole story came out and was overshadowed by Clinton's affair with what's her name.....What ashame and a good movie.....
