You were right before you edited your answer. In the movie, the two children were named Anthony and Mary.
bc i didn't realize you wanted the novel answer. i never read it and know how books change when it's made into a movie. i didn't know if he had 2 boys in the book or not. i just know that hag sofia coppola was his daughter in the Godfather Part III. She got the part bc WInona Ryder dropped out due to an illness.
yes Bears that's correct. Oranges appear when many people are about to time in the movie. Even when the horse is killed, there is a bowl of oranges at the dinner table with Tom Hagen and Waltz.
What famous director/producer turned down making The Godfather when approached by Paramount? And for a bonus point what movie, also mafia themed, did this director go on to make instead?
Got an amazing book for Christmas: "The Godfather Notebook." It's by FF Coppola, and tells all the background info on the movie, how he story-boarded the book; it has his hand-written notes in the margins of the blown-up pages of the novel...a must for any fan of The Godfather. Anyway... Sergio Leone, Once Upon a Time in America...?
Staying on with The Godfather AND Once Upon a Time in America: One actor appeared in all three Godfather films, as well as Once Upon a Time in America. Name him.
I just read the movie is better than the novel and the novel is very hard at times due to Puzo's writing. Coppola got rid of a lot of the crap from the book for the film.
many people don't realize the little girl Deborah who grows up to be Elizabeth McGovern in Once Upon a Time is a young Jennifer Connolly.
well PAcino is the only actor in all 3 Godfather movies per 2 trivia sites, so im dying to see this answer!
Gotta disagree with that. I love both, but the book is definitely better. It's not like Puzo is Saul Bellow or some shit.
