Second, makes the simple look a little more difficult. lol Colorado is noticeably smaller on the field.
Williams on third down and 8 - Reads what's in front of him, makes the correct adjustment and delivers a dart. And USC uses the up tempo script to march quickly and error free to the end zone. Gonna be a long day for coach Prime...
They kept it easy for him, but if they want to be competitive in this one they are gonna have to move him out of the pocket and press downfield.
Gonna be an easy afternoon for Williams if the receivers continue to have a minimum of 5 yards of separation... Followed by a rare overthrow.
Sanders is looking really sharp to start this game. I'd like to see him get a chance to settle in and try to work some intermediate tight rope throws and a couple layered shots down the sidelines.
Sanders needs to read that DB coming off the edge and make the adjustment either presnap (decently masked by the DB) or understand that using his feet their is the better option than attempting to force a pass through the defender.
And now he is playing like the moment is too big for him... Gotta understand down/distance/situation there.
lol I'll look back and see if I can find my post with my opinion on passer rankings and see what you think at this point in the season...
@beachbum This is from August 10th - MONDAY MORNING QUARTERBACK This is all 32 from my personal list (notebook stuff). Here's where I would have them now (rookies don't qualify so they bottom the list): Patrick Mahomes Joe Burrow Josh Allen Jalen Hurts Trevor Lawrence Lamar Jackson Justin Herbert Aaron Rodgers Jared Goff Kirk Cousins Kyler Murray Justin Fields Derek Carr DeShaun Watson Russell Wilson Tua Tagovailoa Matt Stafford Dak Prescott Jimmy Garoppolo Geno Smith Ryan Tannehill Daniel Jones Desmond Ridder Brock Purdy Mac Jones Kenny Pickett Sam Howell Kyle Trask Jordan Love Anthony Richardson Bryce Young C.J. Stroud Here's where I expect my rankings to line up at the end of the season (way too early projections): Patrick Mahomes Joe Burrow Trevor Lawrence Justin Herbert Jalen Hurts Josh Allen Jared Goff Lamar Jackson Tua Tagovailoa Justin Fields Aaron Rodgers DeShaun Watson (the Browns are not finishing last in the AFC North) Kirk Cousins Russell Wilson (Payton's impact is going to be big in Wilson's bounce back) Derek Carr Anthony Richardson Matt Stafford Kyler Murray (gonna slide some over recovery and coaching change) Geno Smith Mac Jones C.J. Stroud Dak Prescott Desmond Ridder Bryce Young Daniel Jones Brock Purdy (I have the odds-on Lance coming in at some point this season higher than most) Kyle Trask Jimmy Garoppolo Kenny Pickett Will Levis (I have Tannehill being benched at some point this season) Jordan Love Sam Howell (I have the Commanders revolving the door between Howell and Brissett) I commented on a couple that I though some would ask about, but I have notations for the rest if anyone asks.
Just tuned in and seen that last TD... he had all day. Good o-line blocking, but he had good feet/movement also while WR's were getting open. This is the first time I'll be seeing both Williams and Sanders in live game action as compared to highlight clips.
