Pirates sign (P) Vogelsong to a 1 year contract today.

 

Taillon, one of their top rookie starters could easily make the team. He was hurt and rehabbing all of last year. I think Vogelsong is better than Locke and if Taillon doesn't have any problems getting back in the groove, he should beat out Locke also. Hopefully! Locke has a very hard time getting to 6 innings. Fish, Morton is up and down consistently. I was leaning toward getting rid of him.......He can also be down for quite awhile when he is down.......

Chapman is a Yankee...

After a trade to the Dodgers fell apart earlier in the offseason, the Reds finally moved closer Aroldis Chapman, trading him to the Yankees for four prospects.

 

unreal Will. Cashman said yesterday they are concerned about Chapman's recent acts of violence but the deal was too good to pass up. no shit.

 

The Reds are going all out and trading their best players. Basically starting from scratch and trying to follow the Cubs and Pirates path, as the Cubs and Pirates followed the Marlins, Rays a[*][/*]nd A's path........
